@SplashOfOrange which optic do you prefer? I have several and like them, I'm just trying to get used to them, as I'm mainly an iron sights guy.

@noshillgunreviews I have settled mostly on the Holosun EPS and EPS Carry, because I wanted a consistent reticle/sight picture and controls regardless of which handgun I'm using. Full-size EPS on the Echelons, EPS Carry on the PX4cc and Hellcat RDP. The one exception is I have a Beretta APXA1 Carry with a "cheap" hand-me-down Hex Wasp, but I also almost never shoot it anymore except maybe once every few months to function and zero check it.

@SplashOfOrange Okay, nice nice. I like Holosun, the 509T, EPS Carry, and the Aimpoint Acro P-2. Those so far for me have been solid and very dependable. How do you like that Beretta APX? I want to grab one, but it seems that people aren't too fond of it?

@@noshillgunreviews the APXA1 Carry 's one trick is that it's very small and light, so I only carry it if I'm someplace where I absolutely need minimal print and/or weight. It's accurate enough but the trigger is ... Garbage. It's crunchy and literally makes it feel like I have a splinter in my finger if I shoot more than a few mags with it, unless I wear gloves. So it's a capable backup and last ditch option -- and it is literally the last on my list of options. To be clear, I'm talking about the CARRY, not the full-size or even the compact APXA1's. I'd like to give those a try because they have a modular system similar to the Echelon.... But my uncomfortable experience with the APXA1 Carry has given me pause to try its larger siblings because it seems the trigger experience would follow for exactly the reason that the trigger is the common part. I don't hate it, it's a capable little pocket or PJ handgun, but I don't "enjoy" it either. It's just a "do what you gotta do in a bad situation" backup to me.

Whats so cool that springfield does now is they mark the iron sights with a little notch so you know if they are exactly where they need to be! As long as both front and back sights are aligned with those then you know you are good!

@vargoracing2274 yooo, I've heard of Matt's Bullets. I was considering getting the ammo but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Is their ammo reliable?

​@noshillgunreviews Yes sir I shoot his ammo offen. I actually got the 700gr t-rex from him b4 I had my 500. Lol was the just first round I shot out of it. Absolutely recommended the 440 vaporizer, 635 grand cayon, 700gr t-rex. You strap them dudes up make sure u got a grip. Lol

@SplashOfOrange Imo, I think shooting 45 and 10mm can be similar, depending on what you shoot. If you get 45 in +p, the impulse gets very close to 10mm. Generally, I think 45 is closer to 9mm, as far as recoil goes. What about you?

@@noshillgunreviews Wish I could say, but I've not shot 10mm yet, but I did check that my local range has some 10mm rentals so I'll try one out sometime soon. I'm limited by what they have assigned to rental though, like they have a G20 but not a G40 which is a bummer since the G40 is the one I'm most interested in. I've shot .45 though and it strikes me as a little more than 9mm but not by much.

@carlitotiger4570 Appreciate you coming by. I've considered that bull barrel, I just wasn't sure if it is worth the upgrade. Was it a complete drop-in, or did it need any gunsmithing? I've personally never had magazine issues, but it's good to know that Sig would fix it.

I do a lot of gunsmithing, so I had to do a minor fitting on it. Bar-Sto is really good at giving you a sheet of instructions on what areas to remove metal. Of course, if you don't feel contrable on doing that, you can always have a gun smith do for you. Good luck, and I think you'll really enjoy the upgrade on that barrel. It is a lot better than the factory, that's for sure.

@@noshillgunreviews I look forward to you breaking it down a bit. I'm definitely on a financial hiatus for now, just range time and some ammo here and there for the next few months. In the meantime I'll figure out what my priority next step is. A shotgun (Beretta 1301 or A300 Ultima, Mossberg Tactical or a Shockwave) would open a whole new world of options so that's a tempting next step. We'll see, I'll keep watchin' and thinking it over in the meantime!

@SplashOfOrange yooo, the 1301 is on my agenda to get and review. I'm curious if all the hype is true as it compares to the Benelli M4. I definitely get it on the hiatus for a while. These things are expensive!

@SplashOfOrange imo it does, yes. I used to have the glock 20 and have the glock 29 currently. I think the bigger gun helps and imo, the g20 and g40 shoot similarly enough.
