Hi mate, i had no problems when i installed mine. I did however have a new ignition module and a upgraded coil already installed in the car prior. Was your car running good befor you installed the haltech??

@@clintganly yes no problem. However I think it should have more grunt for a cammed and chipped 5.0 but it runs fine. I swapped the stock computer with the chip and towed a camper trailer 5.5 hours to the Summernats

Did your tuner give you any feedback about it once they tuned it as to why it wasnt running good mate??

Hi mate, i had no problem at all getting a road worthy and getting it registered. Seeing as it uses all factory parts i cant see why it would raise any flags.

Hey mate, i bought it with the engine swap already done. Credit to the guy that did it, he used a donor car and swapped everything from it into the wagon.

Hey mate, everything in mine has come from a jzx110 from what ive been told. The jzx100 master sits differently i believe and not as nice as the 110 item.

I ended up modifying the factory ecu holder and got some haltech mounting hardware for the ecu for it to bolt to the bracket. Then it all sat in place and looked factory. Ive been meaning to do a video on the install and how the car went. If you like im happy to share some photos via intagram of tbe bracket and everything made up.

Sorry mate i dont think they do, you may be better off looking at doing the ls1 ecu conversion for your car.

The wags runs the t5 gearbox. Wbat gearbox does your ute have in it??

@@clintganly has the Getrag 260. I only found it out after ordering the wrong clutch for it. I would have gone the T56 but yeah thought it was gonna have the T5 in it. The ute has the dash all out still from when I was trying to change out the failed interior fan motor

My father had a vs ute with the getrag box in years ago. Was never a fan of them either. T56 would be the go for swaps but tbey arent cheap.

Haha it does use a bit of fuel mate, but fortunatly it doesnt get daily dutys much anymore.

Hey mate, its just a bigger fuel pump and aftermarket reg. I believe they didnt have to change injectors and its a pretty simple system

Yeah it did, but they were with us as it was the car that i was in to film the external shots haha. in fareness its actually pretty quick as its turbo, but clearly not 700hp+ quick haha

Its so much fun riding passenger, the look on peoples faces when its on fullboost is priceless. Its such a wild ride thats for sure. 🤘👌
