My dog snowball at play, she never plays being a senior dog and all (senior as in age). The little dog you see throughout the video is Daisy, a 4 month old puppy.
Go ahead and spend a hundred dollars rebuilding a $200.Zoeller sump pump and while your at it pick up a good wet/dry Shopvac because your going to need it when you least expect it. I have been replacing my Zoeller pump and rebuilding the used one for backup for 40 years and they never fail to disappoint me! I just bought a Harbor Freight one and will pick up a second one for back up at the next 40% sale and well see how it goes, can't be any worse then Zoeller. I also have a battery powered back up that has lasted over 30 years and still kicking butt, when the Zoeller fails.
Same as others - please can the background music, it detracts not enhances. Also, lacked any real details on how to rebuild.
Zoeller sump pumps are crap. Speaking from experience here..
FYI a sump pump tank is called a sump.
this is one piss pore video...
Just made me dizzy.
Well that was pretty much worthless unless you need a photo of the guts of the trans.
That ended abruptly.
Can you get the camera a little closer please? Can't quite make out the pimple on the gnat's ass that is stuck to the bottom of the gasket. Thanks!
retarded...film sideways...trash
their was nothing of rebuild the hydro gear, you just pointed at parts
Personally I don't like background music, I don't find that music enhances instructional videos. This is an extremely poor instructional "rebuild" video, so poor that I'm not going to watch other parts. The video is only OK as a parts review. Too many this and that rather than the part name when referring to parts. Too few actual removal and assembly shots. Give an A for effort.
Stop talking and get on with it.
Thank you. Understanding how things works is always better than just changing parts. The only bad thing of your video is that you move too much and I'm almost seasick now.
Thank you for a great video, can you please explain how did take it apart ? after removing all bolts I couldn't open it.thank you Bob.
Hello, I have one of this, it doesn't move, when I lift the mower the wheels goes very slowly..lack some oil in circuit? Can't find the refill plug..Ciao!
Very likely low on oil. Possibly because leaking oil seals on axles and input shaft. The refill plug is on top. It’s next to impossible to refill without removing the transmission.
Ok great video. I have been replacing the pump in a sump pit for 25 years. Every two years the pump stops working. Today I decided to take it apart since the motor is not shorted. That fluid flew all over my work shop. The problem was the capacitor was toast. It look like gray puddy. I think this has been the same problem with all the previous pumps. That oil is breaking down the capacitor. I believe that is a factory defect. I have 2 sump pits. The pump in both pits goes out every 18 to 24 months if we have a rainy season. The warranty is for 3 years.Any one else having capacitor problems. My pumps are both 98 style.
Try a zoeller M53-0001. Smaller pump no capacitor to go bad.
Just over two years on mine and the unit just hums until it trips the breaker. The impeller is free so I think the problem is the capacitor, which I cannot find anywhere. Did your unit just hum Danny?
@@VideoMyLifeLLC no noise at all.
@@dannypowers4995 Thank you. I just took the top off of my M137-D and the black rectangular shaped component is cracked, partially melted, and looks like it oozed some material that has become hard and in a ball-shape. I don't think it is a capacitor and it is not hooked to the float arm. There are many wires hooked to it and the power cord is hooked to it as well. The float arm enters the pump at a different section of the pump. I'll look for schematics.
@@dannypowers4995 Okay Danny, looks like this part IS the capacitor. I was expecting a round, metal capacitor but according to the schematic this is the item numbered 155782, which Zoeller confirmed. www.pumpproducts.com/media/amasty/amfile/attach/Parts%20List,%20Model%20137%20(M,%20D,%20N,%20E)%2060%20Hz.pdf
I put in new switch, and still no luck. Hopefully a pebble is stuck in mine and nothing more serious.
Is the impeller free or does it seem locked up? I see your post is three years old; how did you resolve the issue and what was wrong, please. Thanks!
wow, i will never get that 14 minutes of my life back.
Bisons Aquarium.... damn I never imagined I would find someone with an attention span comparable to that of a gold fish, and have this person watch the entire video (14 minutes, 11 seconds) but look at this, my lucky day 😂😂😂
You say it is old, but that is exactly what brand new ones look like as well. They are still making those new.
what oil you use
I own the M98. It is currently dry and has been out of the water. I replaced switch, but now the pump just hums (dry) any idea what I could check next?
Check the base first and make sure it is clear and that the weep hole is not clogged. But its Probably the capacitor. Take the oil plug out and see if the oil is grey. If this is the case You will need a new stator.
@@bigblue3221 By "stator" do you mean the capacitor? My M137-D just hums when I trigger the switch, and then it kicks the breaker on the panel after five or six seconds. I am having a heck of a time finding a replacement capacitor. Zoeller says they do not have any in stock right now. Thanks Big Blue
This is probably the most uninformative thing I've ever watched. 14min of stating the obvious.
So glad you showed the Conn Rod needle bearing. Mine fell out. I have all 31 but the holding material is gone. I'm just going to buy new piston assembly. Thanks for video. Hopefully I can get mine going again
Was it a success? Im thinking of fixing a hsk845 with low compression from my spare engine pile
Does anyone have tips on replacing the capacitor? I was just going to clean the parts with alcohol and then solder the new one in before reassembly and refill.... But... open to any feedback..... Great video by the way!
the tip is to measure the capacitor to diagnose good/bad. Capacitor is surged by the high lock rotor start up current before it starts spinning. The way I keep my ejector running like new is by having an inline "soft-starter" controlled by the float sensor to drive pump motor smoothly. Sensor > Soft-starter > 30Amp Relay : long uninterrupted service life without float or pump failure.
That old piston look pretty scored. What do you think caused it? It does look like straight gas or not enough oil? Old gas? Thanks, Cliff
Not much information for the time spent watching. However, for your information the float is almost always the problem and it can be replaced if you can still read the model number-
I never even thought of using my pool table as a work bench ..... Thanks
What made you have to tear it down in the first place? I have a Snapper mower with a 2 cycle 5hp Tecumseh , tvs840 model engine, that after I hit something in the yard, started making a rapping sound and power seemed down, so I shut it off and it now won't start, just puffs some smoke thru the muffler which I've never seen before. :-(. Do you think it may be fixable?
The rod is bent from the sudden stop from hitting something more than likely , either that the oil pump broke & it starved from no oil & the smoking was from the rings & piston being called up & it siezed .
Thank you for the info. Helped me to prevent damaging another pump in reassembly.
Appreciate you doing the video but it would have been extremely helpful if you had shown the process of tearing down the T2 with a description of the parts instead of just telling us what you did after the fact.
where can I buy the dielectric fluid and gaskets for the pump
I am in the same boat with the hills in my yard as well and have started to see an extreme decline in the speed and function of my T2. Maybe I missed it, but it would be great if you could tell the parts that you replaced on this rebuild. Thanks for sharing!
I been working for 4 years+ making these transmissions. some have alot of parts some not so many this is a rather straight forward model with the only acception it has a pump case and no axle bearings. Instead it rolls on bushings. These are well built transmissions as a K51 is a older model now and depending on how old your model is you may have bearings to hold your axels in place but i doubt it. Might I ash you why you chose to take it appart?
ACTUALLY THE NEEDLE IN THE MOTOR SIDE OF THE MANIFOLD IS A PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE. IT WILL TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF THE OIL IN THE MOTOR HOUSING SO YOU CAN MOVE THE TRACTOR WITH OUT TURNING THE PUMP AND THE INPUT SHAFT . THE NEEDLE WILL NOT FALL OUT SINCE IT IS LONGER AND HORIZONTAL. OF COURSE IF YOU FAIL TO PUT THE NEEDLE IN , THERE WILL BE NO PRESSURE IN THE MOTOR SIDE AND THE TRACTOR WILL NOT MOVE.
Of course the workers there cant say anything about it because theres no sign saying "no paying in pennies" I paid in quarters a couple of times and I tell them the exact amount but they still count them.

How many of you are lawyers? I know its legal tender but the laws can change all that. A restaurant has the right to refuse any customer service they want. For whatever reason they want. This law dose not apply to most government offices, I think. I'm not a lawyer too but before.you do something dumb. You should know the law well and the law is nothing but fine print.
when you read money you will see otherwise.. good for all debts public and private. so when you goto pay for your debt. (the cost of a meal) they cannot say they will not take your currency. you have the right to pay for it in any amount you choose , the proprietor cannot refuse, if he/she does then he has broken the contract you had, which is part of a larger social contract.
Call the police? Maybe you should learn the law first, a private business can rufuse to accept any kind of currency and chose to refuse serving you, the only places that are required by federal law to accept all kinds of US currency are non private organizations, like banks.
you would be correct ;-)
haha... good one
call the police when people refuse to accept legal tender but eat the pizza first
and shit i work there... and they got a quarter instead of my 25 pennies...
it was a "social taboo" project, done through my psychology course, any one who says differently can "F-off"
Your cool..
