hey what up! Welcome to my channel. Here you can find my reviews related to guitars, effects pedals, music Cds and vinyl records. I also do hiking vlogs and sometimes just random vlogging. As a consumer myself, I'd like to provide my viewers with a take home message rather dwelling too much into the molecular details. I hope you can stay in touch with me through my videos.

Wintersun's Time II is also great.
@EetuSalminen-uq3tz cheers, I’ll check it out.
Accept Humanoid, the album of the year for me. Frankestein, Diving Into Sin, Man Up , The Reckoning are classics

The GSmini mahogany is the best of the range.....and my favourite Taylor

Awesome top 20 albums of 2024, Baxter. Good to see Nightwish, Accept, Body Count, Ensiferum, Nile, Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Six Feet Under, Saxon and Simone Simons.
@@tainted_lord87 thanks Tony! What’s your number one album for this year?
Why would you pull the belt off, and then remove the ribbon/tape before installing the belt? The ribbon/tape is designed to be used to install the belt on the pulley.
Think you just convinced me. Thanks!
@@shane_21 hey thanks for watching. You won’t regret buying the guitar. Sound is amazing, size is comfortable and very portable. Great for strumming chords and singing. It’s my fave acoustic!
@@bmas020 Did you get the guitar set up or just use it right out of the box?
@ GS mini’s can’t be setup because it doesn’t have a truss rod. Just make sure to always use medium gauge strings on this mini guitar. Also, highly recommend Elixir exclusively for the GS mini.
@@bmas020 So you haven't changed a thing about the guitar since you got it?
@ nope, I bought it brand new and surprisingly the elixir strings that came with it are still going strong. Any particular reason you’re asking why I haven’t changed anything or did anything to the setup?
I love New ensiferum i listen non stop
@@marie-eveanctil7953 it’s an amazing album. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video. It's about time after 40 years of playing guitar that I learn how to install pickups on my own. BTW, the JB/Jazz set is the best ever. The JB is the best all around rock/metal pickup, covers all bases. The mids really punch hard, especially in a Les Paul. Rock on.
@@angusorvid8840 thanks man, likewise, this was my first time changing pickups. I always wanted these JB’s and they are the absolute best. I don’t even use my effects pedals anymore. Just straight plug into my boss katana for a heavy sound. Thanks for watching the video.
@@bmas020 I believe in a simple signal chain and I never get hung up on the whole silly valve vs solid state argument. Solid state is great. In fact, I used some fine solid-state amps in the 80s and so did some big names like Iron Maiden, Rush, George Lynch, Def Leppard, and Dime of course. Always trust your own ears. If something sounds good, it is good. I dig Katanas. They are great. Best solid-state metal amps in the world today.
@ fair enough man. I absolutely love the katana. With my high output guitar pickups and Katana, I don’t even use any pedals effects and love the sound. Plus less gear to haul around when playing live
A very informative review! Classic rock tones, nice case, useful tone knob, the bright pickup interacting well with the darkish mahogany. It is a powerful guitar! Thanx for showing this to me!

This doesn't have the 24-ish page booklet, correct? (also: ill-advised to have turntable on top of speakers)

Both great albums. I go in the Cart and Horses every week and was so shocked when i went in on Wednesday and saw stuff about Paul on the Screen . God bless his family. A really great singer who created a style and left a big mark on Music
@@mikebassy He was such a talent and a true pioneer who gave so much to music. His voice and style were unique, and his influence will definitely be felt for generations. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
@@bmas020 I agree , it's actually really hard to put the emotions into words . I felt a bit stuck in being a bloke and .... But you said it , his influence will be felt for generations because I really don't remember Rock singers like him before him . I was 12 in 1979 and used to listen to the Friday Rock Show on capitol radio in London . I was into Punk , The Sex Pistols and the Clash before that but then iron maiden were up the road from me and I think I used to see those guys in a rehearsal studio in Leyton called Alan Gordon's. I was in a Reggae band ha ha but that was ok . Really don't remember a singer like him before he came along He sort of invented that style that's sometimes operatic but then he always said he was into Punk . Punk was a big thing in East London in 1979
@@mikebassy Paul’s music will live on for generations. Rest in peace Paul. Wow you’ve seen them in their early days?! That’s awesome!
Nice tribute to Paul here Baxter! It's great you did it a few days after out of respect. I actually agree with you, I prefer the debut over Killers too. I heard the debut first though, it was actually through Metallica I got the debut album! They did a cover of Remember tomorrow on Hardwired and I loved it so much I had to get the album! My favourites from the debut have to be Sanctuary and Transylvania, and from Killers it has to be Wrathchild! Nice one mate, RIP Paul 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@JoshKeech Thanks, Josh! Glad you liked it. It’s cool that Metallica led you to the debut-“Remember Tomorrow” is such a great track! I totally get what you mean about those songs too; “Sanctuary” and “Transylvania” are classics, and “Wrathchild” always hits hard. Cheers, mate, and RIP Paul 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Hello, From The StateS. I'm New to your RUclips Channel. Thanks For Sharing 🎸🧠🎶🎶🎶
@@PatrickGeneLeBlancHardy G”day mate, thanks for watching and welcome to the channel, appreciate it 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice unboxing and setup of the PS5 Baxter! For over a decade I've been a PS3 guy, I never upgraded because I didn't need to. However, a few months ago my PS3 stopped working properly and now it doesn't even switch on. So I've been looking at upgrading to the latest model, and I think I'm going to go ahead and get a PS5, so this video is very useful for me! It looks really cool, even if the setup is long. On my PS3 I have not only my games, but also RUclips and all my CD's stored, is the PS5 the same? That's cool you got GT7, I used to play GT5 and 6 a lot as a kid and teen! Great games! If I get a PS5 I'll be looking at getting the Jedi games, and probably GT7 and the new EAFC game (FIFA) 😁🤘🏻👍🏻
@@JoshKeech Here’s a response you can send to Josh: Thanks, Josh! Yeah, the PS5 is definitely the way to go. It’s a huge upgrade from the PS3 in every way. You can still stream RUclips, but unfortunately, it probably doesn’t store CDs like the PS3 did. That said, the game library is amazing. GT7 is a blast, and I’m sure you’ll love it. Definitely grab Jedi games and EAFC when you get it! You won’t regret upgrading 😊🤘🏼
@bmas020 You're welcome mate! Ah ok that's cool, yeah I shouldn't have been so stubborn and just kept with my PS3! Ohh that's a shame it doesn't store CD's like the PS3 did, I kept all my albums on there like a music library. But at least RUclips is still available on it. But that's cool there's plenty of games to play on their library. That's great to hear you're enjoying GT7, a great game series! Yeah I will get those games when I get one, probably the end of this year I might do it. I'm sure I won't regret it, I probably should have upgraded to PS4 ages ago! Cheers 😊🤘🏻
@@JoshKeech maybe I am wrong about the cd storage. You might be able to do that. I haven’t tried it yet. Happy gaming in December. You will love the new gen console 😊
@bmas020 Ahh ok! On my PS3 I could put a CD in and it would go to the music section. Then I could import the information onto the PlayStation, I must have had over 100 albums on it. It was like having Spotify but not! Definitely try it on the PS5 and see what happens. Thanks man, yeah I'm sure I will enjoy it! Hoping to get it before January, we'll see 😊🤘🏻

Thanks for the video. Your background music is REALLY good. Other than the programmed drums it reminds me A LOT of Thin White Rope. Good stuff!
@@steves5331 thanks for watching the video and the music comment. It’s my original composition. And now I’ll check out Thin White Rope band.
Wow, Nightwish fans can be SO sensitive, like Earthlink2000 seems to be. Just because Baxter prefers the Tarja and Anette eras doesn't mean he doesn't like Nightwish. I love all three singers but my favorite is Anette. Would Earthlink2000 say that all the people who bash Anette because she didn't sing operatic do not like Nightwish?
@@steves5331 Thanks mate, 100% agree with your comment.
@@steves5331 I like all the albums, there are different and good on it's own way. When starting comparing what is what and how it measures against another thing comes with the connotation that something is usually of. We never say, this movie is perfect, but if S. Johansen is playing here, it would have been better.
I want to thank you for showing us the content of the new album. I disagree with you that the last couple of albumS are not as good as what Tarja and Annette did. Tarja and Annette didn't do anything, they just sang the songs that Tuomas had written, both of them have projects and are still singing, so you don't have to bash on Floor and Nightwish. Tarja was kicked by the band members 20 years ago if you still talking about it, I wonder if you care about Nightwish or Tarja more. Everybody has their own opinion, so if you don't like what Nightwish do don't listen to them, and listen and review Tarja or Annette's projects. I love the last three albums and while they don't have significant musical value for metal fans, they connect with an audience that is intellectually ready to understand the content of each song. This wasn't the case in the albums before Endless Forms Most Beautiful, they had awesome melodies and arrangement of songs but that was the case with many other bands. What makes Nightwish unique and separates this group from the other is that every song in the last three albums carries a message to us as humans, and this is the genius of Tuomas. I see you have a new channel and you're trying to grow it, but please don't take on big-name groups and then bad mouth them because there is a reason why the fans still love their band. I came here because the algorithm suggested a video about Yesterwynde, unfortunately, the only thing I learned from the video is that you don't like Nightwish.
@Earthlink2000 hey mate I appreciate your comment, but I think you didn’t hear properly what I was saying in the video because if you did, then you wouldn’t have written the above comment. Also, not once I bashed Floor or Tomous or Nightwish. I highly recommend (1) you should watch my video again (2) edit your comment. If I want I can easily delete your comment from my end but my channel and content is very fair and neutral and therefore I’ll leave your comment and hopefully you can edit it accordingly.
@@bmas020 I know you could do anything, it's your choice. These channels lose their purpose w/o viewers though. I gave you my perspective about this never ending topic of who is better at Nightwish, while they have only one person that sings there. We either like it and listen or we don't, it's not that complicated. I wasn't trying to be negative, I feel that any feedback about your endeavor is good for you because this is how you gauge your audience. My intent was to broaden your perspective, sorry if I sounded negative. English is not my native language, and sometimes the meaning gets lost in the translation.
Cool unboxing of the new Nightwish album, Baxter.

Very strange, something must have happened behind the scenes I'd guess. Not very professional I'd say
@@JoshKeech Perry’s wife has said a lot of tension building up led to this. Yes, not professional at all.
@bmas020 Ahh ok, so maybe there is a lot of tension going on behind the scenes. Who knows what might happen to the band now. Not that I'm a fan of the band, I don't know them very well at all. Just curious to see what happens next 🤔 👀

@@JacobKlipper in my opinion 120W it’s pretty decent, but if you can get a good deal on 200W that’d be a good option. I live in an apartment so I can’t be very loud. What did you mean by strain on the eyes at 5:35 ?
@@gillmaster it’s choosing between the light mode versus the dark mode. I prefer the light mode because it’s easier to read things on the computer whereas, in the dark mode, it becomes difficult, and that puts a strain on the eyes.
I just got one of these off Facebook market place... It allows you to turn your tube amps up to the sweet spot with out the police showing up... lol. That knob got me too... I was turning it expecting something to happen, but it only controls the digital signal to a DI or your recording interface to prevent clipping. I paid $125 for mine, and I feel like I stole it at that price, because my vibroverb doest even wake up until about 5, and prior to buying this thing I couldn't turn the amp past 3 with out squinting my eyes. I think I may end up selling this one, and buying the next model up so I have a little more control over attenuation, and output level, also you can plug up headphones and play without a speaker. I could already do this by plugging this unit into my interface that has headphones, so, im not in a rush to upgrade.. Mainly wanted to see how it functioned before I invest deeply into the next range of products witch puts you from $600-$1500 depending on what you get. Pretty cool little gadget...
