Think of Tricky as of an Archangel. That is far from correct, it's so nice around here at times. :))

I went to Kamakura in September 1992 in search of Yamada Koun Roshi’s Sanbo An. I changed my objective. I began a search for D.T. SUZUKI’s grave. I found it. The cicadas were so loud. A nun gave me water to pour on his gravestone. Where did those tears originate? A haiku poet told me that R. H. BLYTH’s grave was nearby. She sent me a photograph of his grave. Thank you Aitken Roshi for teaching me to sit on a zafu in Honolulu.

It is amazing to see Koun Yamada’s son. He is mentioned as a child in Kapleau’s “Three Pillars of Zen”. It was in K.Y.‘s enlightenment story.
