"Fractale" is an anime directed by Yamamoto Yutaka.
吹奏楽のための『フラクタル組曲』第1楽章／鹿野草平
「フラクタル」は、映画『私の優しくない先輩』の監督、『涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱』の演出家を務めた山本 寛さんが贈る冒険ファンタジー作品。
劇中の音楽は、2010年度吹奏楽コンクール課題曲「吹奏楽のためのスケルツォ第2番《夏》」の作曲者である
鹿野 草平さんが起用されています。
本編中ではオーケストラによって演奏されたバージョンが使用されていますが、大の吹奏楽好きとして知られる
山本寛さんの「ぜひ吹奏楽版を！」という声によって、このたび吹奏楽版も録音されることになりました。

Could have been much more developed. Pity because Shinko is a great character (but deserved a better movie). Thankfully Katabuchi was later able to showcase all his talent on In this corner of the world
Didn't think every piece of the soundtrack fit but overall is was really sweet and moving. And I really liked how it didn't shy away from darker subjects. Beautiful ending song btw.
excepted the main ending theme (Kodomo no sekai , I am looking for the last song just at the end of the movie (when kids are singing) Someone can help me? The movie is a pure metaphoris and it is sliding like a poetry! Very nice and emotional...

Definitely watch it! Even thought i am from the other side of the world, this movie reminded me my childhood so much... Beautiful movie and story!
