We are about Adventure Mountain Biking. Our plan is to travel across the North American continent to experience the many different trail systems and communities. Meet new people and build relationships that we can bring to you through the magic of RUclips.
You can look forward to general Mountain Bike related expeditions, product testing along with science & Engineering occasionally thrown into the mix. If possible we plan to map all the individual trails in order to create a video library for all to review.
Anything to do with adventure style mountain biking, we try to kick it down the trail at least once.

I was trying to get out that Sunday to meet with you but it didn’t work out. Maybe next year!
@@ChopperOutdoors We were looking out for you. Hopefully we see you next visit. We'll keep you updated.
We are always improving QW!🎯🎯
Agreed! You guys and gals do an impressive job of keeping things interesting & fun. Thanx!
Cool videos. Are you a local South Florida rider? I’m surpassing my usual group and looking for others to ride with.
Hi there, thank you for the compliment. We do our best! Sorry no, we visit South Florida from time to time. We're wandering MTB vagrants essentially unfolding adventures where we can find them..
Stand up to the jump!! love it. Was a pleasure riding with you bro! long overdue! You have to take me through black scorpion now ! haha

Looks like I'll have to make my way to HAFTA - I love rocks & tech! This looks like I would have a lot of fun there 😄
This is no joke fun. We didn't get to half of what's there on this trip....
Muy bonito lugar para rodar saludos.
Very colourful in fall.
Looking forward to seeing you out there in the winter, Andre!

First time in a few years. Maybe next time.
Looks steep in video so that means its way steeper IRL
@@droppindown Boomerang has some serious, no joke roll downs. Lots have eaten dirt and pride on them over the years.
THIS is why HAFTA is such a great riding spot......in the WINTER! 😂 You all did well though, Andre, it's a tough place to ride when there is no snow. You have to me tally prepare yourself for what's in store!
Tough is a mild description. Hafta is rough. Really should get out there more often.
@AndreLaurentMTB lol, yeah, for anyone who has never been, it's truly a tough trail system. Glad they have been doing work there with berms/features, though. I know it would help my tech skills to ride there more often. Especially since it's my neck of the woods.
THAT Triple Crown looks fun - NOTHING like MY Triple Crown, on Burke Mtn here in Coquitlam, BC (a true ◆, very natural, very rooty/rocky, with lots of deep rutted tight spots/turns and a terrifying run-out, lol - my version is at the upper ⅓ of the mountain - not exactly my favorite trail - yet, lol).
Different spokes for different folks. Gotta ride what you have & time on trail makes it more fun.
Nicely done!!! ;-) My home trails, MORCA has done great building trails at BRMC. I love love love their Snowdog groomed winter trails for fatbiking too!
Agreed, we visit in winter as well. The fatbiking is really nice. Those guys do a great job with these trails in all seasons.
It's also half the weight for the weenies out there, but they're probably already aware 😂
I'm sure they are. Lol
Bro! Don't do the Shimano chainring - get the Wolf Tooth chainring for Shimano Hyperglide. It's 1 solid piece! Direct mount onto Shimano cranks!
I have one on my XT 11 speed bike. This one is a hand off replacement. Going with what I have on hand but keeping a close eye on it, for now!! 😉
Rational you say?! That goat was crazy… those rocks! Well handled.👍🏽
It's not a trivial location. Thanx
Sadly it's too slow for MTB! With no trees if you go faster than 24Km/h it loses you. So, it's not good for fast MTB riding.
Agreed. Unfortunate because the platform has so much potential. However, I do see a current firmware update that has increased the max speed while following significantly. The in trails & bushy areas is no better than it was before. No obstacle avoidance is still a fail.
You bike in the winter? Most would store the rack instead.
We bike all year round with lots of travel involved.
Less talk mire ride good video but
Right on, ride on!!!!
Did you get results from DJI?
Good service. Resolved but no explanation
I like my Laser helmet and my Handup gloves.
That's great. Handup gloves stretch and wear too quickly for me.. A few of the guys I ride with do use them.
Just got my pro 36s yesterday. So far so good. Saved me 2.2lbs also.
They are amazingly tough & light. The guys at the Enduro race who had carbon rims couldn't believe the weight.
Teach that trail etiquette!
Lol. Yeah, that was a dangerous one
Other places might be free but you spent 20-30 on gas anyway getting there. I don't mind supporting anyone building trails. I put $50 a year into the hydrocut. If you like the trails its good to support organised builds, can ride with a little more confidence than the don, don't have to worry about a bridge being removed randomly or whatever.
@@nicholasoshea5791 the gas is less of a concern, will have to spend less or more depending on location of the trails & rider starting point. For some it's about perceived value and convenience. Some won't mind paying because it's all they know others will balk because they perceive better value elsewhere for the same time & $ . Going up in cost b4 the community has seen and evaluated is a risk. We can wish them well but time will tell.
Always such fun
@@japanunfound Morca's got some good trails
Hi Andre - thanks for the loan of the pump and the tire plug. Ended up having to put a new tube in and got another pump from another rider!! Cheers and thanks for stopping to assist a fellow rider!
@@cvrossem nice meeting you. Flag to help out. Hopefully you got home on the inflated rubber.??
Gonna go out and hit Motown in a couple hours.
Should be really nice colours today. Dry and dusty
@@AndreLaurentMTB And warm!
Best time.
Did you used the direction track of the neo too on your mtb tours?
This was follow and manual control
@@AndreLaurentMTB what settings do you use on follow? Far?
@MarioFahrleitner I use medium, flat for trails. Too many head height and higher things in the way.
Great video! love it when your trying to tell your DJI to land lol...
Thanx. It can be stubborn sometimes...
@@AndreLaurentMTB Damn that Skynet ;)

The Fall Colours are amazing right now.. Thanx
Hey Andre. Just got into mountain biking this summer and absolutely loving it. I’m from the Sault, so I’m lucky enough to have Hiawatha as my home trails. Anyway, I see you have a bike computer on your bike. Which one is it, and how accurate is the GPS in terms of your ride tracking/mapping and elevation? Love your videos. Cheers and thanks for sharing.
Hey there. Thanx for watching, appreciate your support. I use the Garmin 530. For small and tightly packed trails like the Don Valley or Puslinch (check them on trailforks) the navigation can really suck, have to get my phone out and spin up trailforks. Hiawatha in the tight areas was also messy. The ride tracking is accurate but maybe reports 95 to 98 % less than what we actually ride, seems to have issues with accounting for hill distance. A hill is seen as flat probably. A wheel sensor helps with that. It is more consistent than trailforks on its own. Other riders use the 8.x & 10.x series and have the same issues in tight trail systems.
@@AndreLaurentMTB thanks for the detailed response Andre. Much appreciated. My Suunto 5 is pretty good, but isn’t always accurate and is getting pretty old and worn down. I’ve been researching different watches, bike computers, but still trying to figure out what route to go. Anyway, I followed you on instagram and just subscribed to your RUclips. Love your passion for riding. If you are ever in the Sault again, maybe we can get out for a ride together. I’m sure you could teach me a few things. I feel I’m getting pretty good on the bike, but still need some improvement and have to get my fitness back to where it was a few years ago. Thanks again. Cheers and happy riding.
@NeoClassicalFan I'm not sure if the watch systems are good for navigation but they might work for tracking. Clint Gibbs has a YT channel & he recently discussed GPS watches. Might be worth a look. I had a Suunto at one point but I need the infront of me navigation tool, looking away or hand off the bars = death. Keep an eye on the ghostriderMTB.com site, we post our rides there. If we're heading north you'll see it.. Maybe see you on the trails some time. Stress less, ride more. Stay safe.
Hey Andre don’t mean to threadjaxk but was intending on getting a Garmin 840 or something to use with Trailforks and not have to use the phone. To confirm your previous comment, it is not as accurate ?? Can you use Trailforks on these?
@andrer3764 the Garmin series are ok at best in smaller & tighter trail systems. They struggle to show and navigate where there are more than 3 trails that intersect.. we still have to get trailforks out to figure out the right trail. They are still better than riding with the phone on the bars..
Good job doing that climb 6 times. I tried the new trails last week but after 4 climbs I decided to save my legs for my Dagmar/Walker/Durham loop. I think they need some flatter, bermed, featured trails that newbies, intermediates as well as advanced riders e.g. Guelph Lakes will all enjoy. The advanced rider community is too small and the climb limits the value of a trail ticket to number of times one is willing to do the slog. A more entertaining switchback climb could also help.
@@PaulTjoen we actually had to climb 8 or 9 times. Was sooooo tired after...
@@AndreLaurentMTB That's a good effort. So about $2 per descent. Even as they add more trails, value will be capped by the ability/willingness to do that climb. I wish Rick well with the Hub and hope it succeeds. He's Emily Batty's dad and has ridden the area for decades.
Hopefully the expansion will add more trails and draw more riders.
The features are pretty mellow honestly. A newbie could do them fine as long as they take it slow the first time on them so they don't accidentally fly over anything they don't know is there. There's no mandatory jumps or drops that aren't rollable and no difficult technical stuff
@@JL-up8nh yep, let's hope they still l step the trail tech up a few notches
FYI. I don’t see new trails on TF yet
Correct. We asked and didn't get an answer.
How many km’s is there on Trail Hub property?
Magnet Maybe 10km is that, with all the laps to get back to the top..
i seen on Instagram the Trail Hub has opened 5 trails and in the next couple weeks will be opening a few more...I'm gonna have to go check it out! Great video!
Was there last Friday and thought the exact same thing re: tree sticking out on C'est La Vie
That needs a cleanup
Pretty impressive, the tracking is really good as long as you dont go too fast
@@mikelafferty5253 I've found around 14km/h is the limit...
I think my main issue is... they all just seem pretty much the same.
Pretty much but two stand out, Chocolate River & Climb Down..
$15 a bit hefty for the amount of TH trails. I'll stick with the surrounding trails for now.
Might be worth at least 1 visit to check out but those were my thoughts as well... Until they up the count some more.
This mentality is why Ontario trails will always be mediocre, pay to play model creates far better trails then the crappy public land everything must be safe trails.
@@123biking I agree with this; sometimes payment gives better value in the end. With that said I also agree with another comment I saw on this channel; they need some better up trail system; maybe mellow switch backs or something. The steep climbs means that any perceived value of the trails goes out the window if people can’t do all of the new trails. Yeah yeah fitness I get it, but everyone’s at a different level.
I'll go hike it this afternoon. I'm getting too old to bike it without trail walk.
It's not a trivial ride. Check it b4 U wreck it or a very good idea.
Wait, what? Bears & skinnies????
Thought it was Arnie with that accent… I’LL BE BACK! 😂
It'll be back!!
What is this I watched round 100 video since its launch no one told or mentioned you can control it by pointing....whatt ,?????
I'm not sure if it's real or an undocumented feature that sort of works for me. 😂
@@AndreLaurentMTB Brother, please make video about it, if possible..demonstrating it really works because I am getting mad about thinking how it is working so accurately in this particular video.... just wow
Just a quick follow up: ZTTO has changed the ratchet ring design and the current ones that are sold look identical to the original EliteWheels rings with a hollow other end. I have not tested them yet, but ZTTO states that they're compatible with pretty much every DT ratchet hub out there. "For 190 ,240S,340,350,440,540 Hub" (can that be true when the current design is so different?)
Looks like something worth investigating...
Cool features
