What's the weight of leather, for the braces and straps? Too thick on the doubled braces, with the strap in between, seems like it would "print" under light cover garments...

awesome video! thanks for sharing! I never would mess with them just for the simple fact that I knew nothing about them. I will probably give them a try now... do you guys prefer the lift the dot snaps over regular line 24 snaps? or do they both kind of have their specific uses? what's your take on them, are they better, or just preference? Thanks again for sharing!

I bought a similar size shark hide from Springfield a couple of months ago and wow! the price is almost double in the 4 years since this video was posted, I paid $168 for it. It is still a money maker but the sticker shock on products these days is tough on the wallet.

Hey George the Blue gun you called me about came in last week, so they have recovered from the hurricane enough to be shipping again. I just ordered one of the punches in the video from Texas Custom Dies today. I really appreciate your efforts to help bring good quality products to the attention of the masses. The last two punches I had the first one split up the side and the other one broke at one of the welds, I had to reweld it. I was really looking for a good quality punch Thanks you da man!

Funny you mention prisoners practicing getting your gun out of your holster. Back in the days when I was in law enforcement, we learned that after the release of Leathel Wepon 4 in 1998 where Jet Li snatched the slide off a 92 FS the prisoners started practicing pushing the barrel back to knock it out of battery so the gun could not go off then removing the slides. The 92 FS dummies made in the prison shops. About a quarter of our department I worked in was carrying the Beretta or the Taurus clone of it. The guys in our department that was carrying those all treaded them in for Sigs within a few months of seeing how easy it was to leave you standing there with a frame and a mag feeling violated. If you want to see it go to this youtube link ruclips.net/video/lzEctvL0vrg/видео.html

Good work! I bought one of your PDF patterns and am at the point of attaching the reinforcement panel so I thought I would watch you do it. I have a question at 13:21 your holster the reinforcement tunnel has at raised section in the tunnel where the belt would pass through then at13:25 you swap it out got a pre stitched one and that area appears to be flat is that a just the way the light is on it or am I missing something? I am using exotic skins and don't want to punch holes in it where they don't need to be that would be an expensive mistake for me. Please advise? Thanks
