"I used to live in St Albans way back in the 1960s residing at 319 Hatfield Road and attending Beaumont Secondary School... A beautiful town which holds many fond memories for me...
A rather disjointed film going back and forth erratically and dreadful sound. Lived there for years and you do not do it justice. Disappointing
Nice vid love maryport born there peckerwell moved to Manchester when I was 13 I am 72 now still go back now and then lovely video thank you.
I can't believe how quick this is eroding. Now you cant park any cars to the right of the toilet block or in front of it. The red car and to white van is nearly gone now. And its fenced in line with the front of the other cars
What is the white substance in the center of the view at 0:32?
Good to see maryport on here 👍
st Pauls Deptford looks lovely shame np said anything about it
absolutely gutted the glenbay hotel is closed down n let to rot
I'm originally from Glen it was so odd to see the journey from Cashel to well the beach cause I could not tell you the mount of times I walked or rode my bike there as I lived just past the folk museum
Looks nice. Any good restaurants?
yes me and my missus did it 2 weeks ago
It was stupid and lame who are you you idiot
Quite an adventure really (unless you do it every day). I'd rather pay to go on the ferry than over the Dartford crossing, but I think it's free isn't it?
I stayed in this quiet, lovely town 15 years ago. I believe it was the Hannah McGuire House. On top of a small hill overlooking the sea....there was a huge rock formation jutting up out of the sea. Miss Hanna was a delight and made you feel like family. Funny enough, I was back home in the States and chatting with a woman whose great aunt owned a B and B in Ireland...I asked her where and she said.... "a tiny town, I'm sure you've never heard of it".......turned out it was Hanna McGuire House......it's a small world!
Enjoyed this video. It's good to see these places again. They are very familiar to me. I went to Glencolumbcille every summer between 1998 and 2002. I even wrote a song about it called "Glencolumbcille Song" which is on RUclips. I used to do courses at Oideas Gael. I also used to like going to Teach Biddy, Roarty's Bar and Glen Head tavern.
It is cuckfield
Very nice to see the church grounds nice and green. I went in grey and drizzle. Thank you for putting this video on. Bit of commentary would be nice though.
Thank you from me too. Many of my family members were baptised and worshipped at the church in the middle of the 19th century. I visited the exterior on a very wet day in January 2011 and was disappointed not to be able to enter the church.
loool near Depford Park lool nice journey mate :)
Absolutely stunning! Especially the lovely Bonnie Prince Billy accompanying.
Good vid, great soundtrack - "she was a level-headed dancer" LOL!
Thomas the Tank Engine they aint!
i used to work in the london restaurant around about 1984 and i think its the same wallpaper upstairs when i was there.i wonder if its the same owners as i really liked it there and quite miss southend.
We are NOT at South Beach anymore. Yikes, so many people!
I think I've heard that tune - lovely.
I've been there too -aaaah! Listened through an open window - a young intense man on the piano auditioning for the Trinity College of Music.
