there is worse than overfeeding. Its when you add a food and nobody eats it😢… happened to me just two days ago. Put in some lovely fresh prawn bits for cories and watched it rot and had to do a water change. So no one eats and you foul up your water😢

i recently setup a tank. i used new aquasoil, with a layer of old sand substrate under it for height. using the old internal power filter and also got one sponge filter from local fish store for extra stability. put the aquasoil and left for 2 days with filters running. then planted my first set of plants and after 4 more days planted more plants (ludvigia red, rotala red, rotala blood red, rotala green, monte carlo and reineckii mini) covered almost all of my 2 feet tank. using 3 sobo al cob lights (total 75 watts). i see some melting on the old plants and also some algae on monte carlo, and hairlike alge on rotala aswell. also during these past week, did daily 50% water changes. using DIY co2, microlife s2(bacteria) , dechlorinator after water changes. parameters are also fine. i am following the guides and will start water changes every 2 days from now. what is going wrong and why arent my plants taking off? what to do next?

My biggest problem with overfeeding my fish tanks was other people.

If you mix cherry shrimp colors, you end up with grey offspring, not a mix of color. It is not recommended to mix color, they end up looking like mini amano shrimp.

I am very guilty of over feeding. I try giving different types of fish food and struggle to work out how much to give the fish for each food. A little pinch of one, is not the same as another.

Blackmasts come from limestone country so need hard and alkaline water conditions. You may need change your water parameters to bring out the best in them. Sleisbeck Exquisite Rainbowfish like clean water with lots of water movement and high oxygenation. Are you planning to do a breeding video for the Sleisbecks?

I know whatt feel like to be waiting on fish to arrive. I just got an order of 24k gold long fin guppies. They were 3 days later than they were supposed to be here fortunately they arrived alive. It is the middle of winter here but we had a small window of warmer weather and the heat pack was dying but all the fry survived 🥺😢😮😇

I heard all over the internet that guppies needed to be at 72-80° will they be ok at 68°

Endless can nip! just ask my mystery snail. Every time it tried to open the endlers circled around and waited for something to poke out! Had to move the snail to another tank..

Susswassertang is German for Freshwater Seaweed. It belongs to the same family as Water Sprite, which belongs to the family of Water Ferns. Susswassertang is a Water Fern.

In reality, no plant, fruit, veg or mushroom actually needs soil, just the nutrients that 'growing media' holds, hence hydroponics etc ;)

When I first started keeping fish, especially live bearers, guppy grass was by far my favourite plant. So easy to grow and maintain. Until I started breeding cichlids of course!

Would loove to be able to keep cold water fish but I live in Texas 😅 On the bright side room temperature keeps my tanks at around 76-78 degrees F 🤣🤣
