glad that my mum did notice i have flat head when im just 1, and she didn't give any fk abt it , so my head now is huge and flat huh

I got an abnormal development of my skull and im 20 years old now and my hair started to thin causing my head to be more exposed. My classmates keep on bullying me and then i always ask myself "Why am i born?" "Why does my mother let me born in this world?". He could've just kill me when i was a child. Now i always think about committing suicide be ause of this.

Preventing plagiocephaly is done by tummy time, stopping swaddling, and baby wearing. Overuse of placing infants on flat surface on their back is the major cause of this defect. Craniosacral therapy, and chiropractic care are effective treatments.

Hey Emily I know this was a old comment in curious how you're child's head it now a few years later? My daughter has a mild flat head right in the middle.
@@Dustinshere how old is she? He still has a small flat bit at the back but because it was right in the middle at the back it actually looks totally normal. I did nothing other than kept him from laying flat on his back for several months. Im glad i noticed it when I did as it isnt bad at all. And the fact it was central to the back of the head made it symmetrical at least. I would of probably tried to do more intervention had the flat bit been on just one side or the other.

Great video! With about one in four babies developing positional plagiocephaly, the Tortle seems like a new baby must-have. It seems that prevention is so much easier than treatment.

yes you can, i don't think the sutures close until age 2, but not all of them some sutures dont close until about age 30 i believe

Very great video! Really wish I had known about this product when my daughter was an infant. Do you have any products for older babies? My baby is now 10 months and her head is pretty big. Too big for the large size :)
Very informative video...a must watch to prevent and correct flat head syndrome.
I wish I'd known as well. My almost 4 month old has a pretty flat back of the head. I now have the tortle, and it fits nice and snug. However, she usually squirms her way out of it within 20 min. of sleep time and gets on to the back of her head again! Alternatively, I try and make a point to put her down on her side with a pillow to prop her up. She usually wiggles out of that position as well. I am just praying that the more mobile she becomes, her flat spot will resolve on its own.
