I was just thinking today that if Baltimore does not get over that playoff problem. Would getting a new voice in the locker room be the right move? Maybe John’s not the guy to get this team over the final hurdle in the playoffs. A new voice and new leadership may be what’s missing. We’ve done the Harbaugh thing for well over a decade. Maybe it’s time to seek out that right person to engage this team in a way that he is not.

Our biggest problem is pass rush. We can’t apply pressure with front 4. And now without Patrick queen Roquan has been getting exposed in coverage! I think we should move him to edge and put a younger faster linebacker in coverage. He was one of our best pass rushers a year ago. Kyle Hamilton is not comparable to ed reed. The play styles are different. Ed’s speed and hands were unmatched. And one thing about it. Every team plays their best when they play us. Every team. We don’t get easy cupcake games. Which is good. Now Todd has some explaining to do. But I think they are trying certain plays out now rather than the championship game. I also think that they didn’t play Marcus because they want to trade him. That’s the only logical reason he didn’t play. Brandon Stephen’s is not cb1 and gets exposed every game. So when Marlo and Nate get back that defense is going to look elite. Plus we lost two d lineman early. We get them back and everybody gets healthy. Watch how this defense turns up. Extra note we have dropped easy interceptions in every game. Marlo just came away with two last week and set a new standard. We need these loses to embrace adversity and practice harder. Watch this blowout against the broncos

So at first I was mad at Eddie Jackson too. But hear me out. It was his first game with us. But on the bright side, we know he was in on a lot of plays. Almost all of them. Yea he gave up a tub. But he’s not going to drop all those interceptions every game. I seen a tape where I think he had 3 dropped ints. But look at his stats. 10 total tackles. Tied with Kyle Hamilton. That’s good stats to build on. So he has some upside moving forward. It took me a couple days to think from a coaching perspective. If I had a db tied for the most tackles in a game and was in the play on 3 ints in his first game with the team I’m not complaining any other game. He’s going to finish those plays as the season progresses. Especially when Marlon and nasty Nate come back. That defense is going to be scary.

There is mettle that is developed during the season by how teams win or lose. It can be considered the character of the team. This season I see an actualized focus on doing what it takes to win and every player. Which is a testament to both coaching and leadership. The resiliency and diminishing mental errors being the main drivers for this team's maturity. They look like they are on a trajectory to dictate rather than be overwhelmed by the moment. Giving me the same feeling Of watching MJ.
