I dare say that your result looks quite a bit better than Hornby's own home brewed system! Why do think that is though? I would imagine that Hornby would've tried hard to be competitive with you, but you've clearly done it better somehow.

Sound and smoke it great. A very wonky rear wheel there however. Not good enough in 2024....! Hornby must stopp allowing such defects to get through....!!!!

This model is just incredible and the fact I got to see this thing in person was even cooler, its super well painted and put together, and the faces lift the whole thing, I would totally get a kit for a oo gauge thomas for that good accuracy

Wow, that one looks great. I really like how the intensity of the chuff sounds and the intensity of the steam puffs are synchronized together, and both of them nearly go away when you drop the throttle and the train is coasting.

I’d love to see a Lady video with the synchronized smoke. I don’t know how you’d do it with such a small engine like Lady, but it is fun to think of a small, realistic Lady chugging around with smoke coming out of her funnel.
