This is exactly the comparison I was looking for, thank you. I've got an S1.6PP, that I've been looking to do a pickup switch on. The pickups stock are almost what I want, but only almost. The bridge isn't satisfying enough on D/Drop C, and are more like the shred tone than the we're-going-to-die tone. The neck pickup is great for shredding, but doesn't feel precise or clear enough with my setup. I'd say this video does a decent sales pitch for the Nazgul, in my opinion.

The solar pickups sound EXACTLY like the Nazgul with a wet towel covering your speaker cab. Awesome
