Slow down that idle . Won’t hurt either way as long as you don’t slam ,bang and over load it, Or run full tilt boogie. Too fast and too hard will tear up anything . Just ask some people I know cutting grass in orchard and snagged brush chopper on tree full speed

Float is there to be used.

Float or not, that's a really fast way to fold up the bucket tilt cylinders on a tractor. Hit something that doesn't want to move, and those cylinders will be bent right at the gland on both.

It's a surveyors spike. Dig below grade and cut it off then cover it back up. Don't remove it though, it's either a property line, or a witness point to find property lines

LOL....been there done that with a deeply set T-Post. I was using a John Deere being the only difference. I ended up just driving it in the rest of the way with a sledge hammer until it was well below the surface. Problem solved.
