There's only 1 kid that probably died and its the 5th one from the additional waking slot, the one that tried waking the others up but decided to venture on his own, the thing is, theres no sign of him being truly dead or alive, those skeletons are of workers and people that the company tried to silence like the journalist, but at the same time they put them into the project to as test subjects or for a goal, cause that group of survivals knew and meet each other but conflict happened withing them and separated and even tried to hide or hunt from each other, been collecting the files amd its interesting but at the same time sad cause some got trapped, hunted without escape.

Wish there were voice-lines whenever they loot one of the skeletons. I'm not sure if they will add voice-lines whenever one of the teens get knocked down, or get killed.

You are yhe only kids in the yard. The backstory cutscenes show a sympathetic Ominent scientist who disobeys Director Schemtor's orders to save you by placing the 5 in the lab in the hope that you will find Wendell, who could unshrink you. There was 5 kids, but tje 5th (presumably names deuce based off a trinket) woke up earlier, and escaped. You can find a letter they wrote where they said they were hunted by spiders. The letter ends, suggesting they died, but the trinket you get is a piece of paper called Deuce, with the description "a sign of a boaatful escape" suggesting the 5th kid evaded the spiders and is still in the yard somewhere. Also, the skeletons are the Ominent employees and interns who were tasked with Finding Wendell, but most starved, got eaten by bugs, or rasined to death.

First of all, those are ominous workers second of all do you think almond wouldn’t just kill five kids no, they would kill more. Do you think they were patient zero no they could’ve been patient 5672 maybe even 1000

That's why there are rotting stuff because of the kids and when you play multiplayer there's a kid who woke up and went out to explore and ended up dieing and when you play singleplayer you are the kid who woke up early
