Danke, ich wußte nicht, wie man die silberne Abdeckung im Wasserbehälter abnehem kann. Darunter hatte sich schwarze Kruste und Schleim gebildet. Zum Reinigen habe ich aber die Maschine nicht komplett zerlegt, sondern nur die silberne Abdeckung im Wasserbehälter abgehebelt. Dann eine halbe Kukident Gebissreinigertablette in etwas Wasser aufgelöst und in den verschmutzten Abfluss des Wasserhehälters gefüllt. Nach einer halben Stunde konnte ich den schwarzen Dreck und die Verkrustungen mit einigen Wattestäbchen entfernen. Hat ohne Mühe super funktioniert. Alles blitze blank.🙃

Unfortunatly the modern versions don't allow you to take appart the machine. All is screwed and wired in a way that you cannot just do it as easily as in this video. I have just spent 2 hours figuring that out. I have also noticed that the water container is no longer available to buy as a spare part. The biggest problem with this machine, is that the water container gets very dirty for some strange reason.

The one and only step that was really hard isn't even shown on the video and that was to remove the sealing at the top of the glass tube. I see others below mentioning breaking the glass tube, for me the sealing went into two pieces instead.

This was PERFECT! Got a brand new moccamaster with a broken water tank for $20 and found a replacement water tank for $40. I couldn't have replaced it without this video! THANK YOU!!

In my brewer the seal to the glass pipe was impossible to remove (seems it was glued) breaking the glass pipe in the process. I've ordered a new pipe so I hope it all ends well anyway.

My Moccamaster KBGT is not working..the water stays in the reservoir tank, do you have any idea what can cause this problem

Great Video! The plastic bowl that the water goes in broke and when I unscrewed the two screws and got the metal plate up and then tried to lift it up....I did not expect everything to be attached to the top bowl and could not figure out how to pull it up....now I know after watching your video!
