Lately, I get a lot of black morris dancers into my yt feed... And I love it! So many of the traditional folk dancers (not just in England, but all over Europe) seem to have forgotten that dancing first and foremost is about enjoying yourself in community, traditional or not. Then they don't find young folks to join, and eventually die out. Now I see all those young black-clad morris dancers, including this group, I see the enormous amount of energy they put into their dance, and as an experienced folk dance fiddler I just know from watching THESE lads and lasses are having a great time! Keep it up! Tradition is about keeping the spark going on, not about worshipping the ashes!

Whenever I see Beltane Border Morris in the description, I just automatically hit the like even before I watch. I know its going to be fantastic.

These guys are very inventive and are always coming up with new dances. I haven't seen this one before. Great entertainers and I like the music.
