This laptop would be great if it had a matte matrix or a mini LED, because it glows terribly and there's also a minus for the soldered RAM which you can't update, it's the same in the new Dell XPS and people return it, or the soldered RAM fails and you can't do anything do.Sneezes.

Hey Salaam Brother (saw the Quran on the table), this was extremely helpful - I just got my 2024 Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 14 today and I literally was able to upgrade the storage space from 1 TB to 8 TB (running two m.2 Samsung Pro 990's x 4 TB each) in matter of 30 minutes because of this video since the design is virtually the same as Galaxy Book3's from last year. It was incredibly helpful. I'm not even a hardware geek guy but I followed your instructions step by step, I was able to clone my drives, I put back my laptop together and it's working great. Sorry, if this was misleading. I am not sure if I mentioned this but I tried the paper like and the paper feel and I don’t see the difference. I ended up returning the paper like.

Not 100% sure but it’s okay for working out. But you cannot rely on it 100% for medical issues.

Yes, there is ghosting. It happens with all of them. You might have forgot about the set up process when it covers that with you and ask you to click the refresh screen and it asks you to you did you see that? That’s what’s it talking about. The screen will refresh its self, sometimes fast than other times depending what’s on the screen. You also should make sure you turn WiFi off because it will auto sync and if you are in middle of writing it can hold it up. Last thought, rM2 and iPad should never be compared, they are two different devices used for two different things. Most of us that have an iPad have a remarkable. Remarkable is designed to be a notebook replacement, not an iPad. They are very clear about that when purchasing. It’s not designed with a backlight as your notebook wouldn’t have a backlight. If your WiFi is on the battery will drain faster. The iPad does its bigger then the rM2. Your notes are in color on the mobile and desktop app, just not on the actually device on purpose. It’s not going to be fast with the iPad, again they shouldn’t ever be compared, two different devices. rM2 is designed for you to spend time with your thoughts distraction free.
Thanks for the informations, this video was made in regards to those like myself who are running on a budget and cannot buy both at the sametime. For a college student there is only one option either to get the ipad or get the remarkable2. I have seen my professor with a remarkable and I found it interesting, and felt that it would replace my ipad to take care of the fatigue. And it does that beautifully but it just those small details that I was not happy about and wanted people to know them. Thanks for the informations, and I really appreciate the clarification.
They shouldn't but they are. Mostly because when you want something to take digital notes, to get rid of having multiple paper notebook, you end up with eink or iPad. And if you are on a budget, an iPad 9gen is nearly the price or lower than the RM2 (which is the cheapest eink notebook when you buy third party stylus and folio). Both takes notes, both are expensive product, the pros of one are the cons of the other one (search in your notes, colours, battery, eye fatigue,....). Without the connect subscription and the search things unavailable, I wouldn't be here, I would have choose the RM2. I end up here because I'm questioning myself about which one to choose.

If I remember correctly, RAM on these are soldered. I’ve got an ASUS ROG M16, near identical specification set and upgradable up to 96GB (2 x 48GB) of DDR5 SODIMM and it’s hella easy to upgrade.

How many have done the addition of the 2nd SSD? no problems? in other web sites I have seen comments that people have experience overheating and even a few had to send unit for repair, so I´m worried to do the upgrade. Maybe it could be selecting the wrong SSD? I have a 960 Pro 1TB SSD available to use.

nothing is working. neither warpshare is detecting my mac nor neardroid is detecting my mac.

What's the fastest read/write speed that the motherboard supports?
I've been trying to follow everyone's directions for this without success. I have installed the app and have notifications enabled...I even disconnected from my VPN just in case that made a difference. But when I try to use Nearby Share from my Pixel 8, my Macbook never shows up as a receiver. Any ideas?
The neardrop doesn't work sometime, and troubleshooting is needed. Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. If it doesn't work, then I would recomend warpshare on your android. And you will be able to send photos to all of your friends macbooks.
What I did was to enable receiving from anyone for 10mins in the Quickshare settings.. now working in my Pixel 7. At default Quickshare settings is set to Contacts only.. i don't know if that's in my case only because i use different email account on my Pixel and Mac

I would recomend downloading the warpshare on your android device. It will allow you to transfer files to any device. The neardrop may require some previous packages due to the download nature throught the terminal.

I asked the same question to Samsung. It said that is soldered.
Yeah, the ram and the cpu is soldered to the laptop. And the only upgradable memory is the ssd.

No, you can only upgrade the ssd. The ram is soldered, and the same for the cpu.

In my case I used the samsung 980 pro, which is compatible with the samsung cloning software "data migration software" that comes free. Someone mentioned that they don't like the 980, so maybe try the 990 which is more expensive. And based on my knowledge, I think that the 360 model comes with only one ssd slot. So make sure before you buy a second one.
I added the SSD but mine had a heatsink built into it. Unfortunately, the cover won't go back on if you have Heatsink on the SSD added 😔
Sorry to hear that, but if return or exchange is a viable option then you can try that before closing the case.

Samsung "data migration software" because the ssd that I am using is a samsung ssd. Not the magition software. If not samsung then any cloning software out their but most are paid.

Yes, but you would not have to pay for it. It's free and you need it to clone the old ssd to the one of the new one's.

Which software did you use to clone the drive?
I installed the samsung ssd and samsung has the samsung data migration software, which is free. But if your not using samsung ssd then, I would suggest using easeus or the acronis software, but you have to pay for them.

Sorry about the late response, but I don't have the model to test. Based on what some reddit users said, it does not come with a second ssd so you have to clone the old ssd to the new ssd.
