When using CA glue, position the piece of wood where it will be and apply the glue. It will wick in to all of the surrounding surface area. Don't apply the glue and try to place the part.

Hia Jim, I have my first model ready to start... (about 40 years later than my first wooden model which I never finished. I was a teenager and joined up!). About time too me thinks. Very happy with the tips and tricks and yes I need to get a few additional tools and the like. I have a question on the PVC glue. You applied the white glue with the bulwarks already clamped in place. SO...Does the white PVC glue wick behind the structure here and would Cyno be better? I notice in the next episdoe you use Cyno for the Gunwales. Great Vids am lapping them up buddy. Thank you!

Would this plank bend technique work for 2mm plank and also for bending it on the widest part (horizontal)? Asking as I'm currently in the first stage of building a Cutty Sark Clipper version. Plus doesnt help I've jumped straight into the deap end for a first wooden ship
