Spraying for Nutsedge
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.Год назад
In this video I spray Nutsedge with Halo 75WDG I am also using the Milwaukee M18 Switchtank for my sprayer. Normally i use sedgehammer which is a great product, Halo is just the same active ingredient and comes with more product.
Just what I've been looking for, some solutions and you helped me out with your content. Just a acquired a 12x24 shed. Side question, how are you protecting your shed floor? I was thinking thick rubber traction mats to protect my wooden floor. Cheaper than epoxy but I'm looking for ideas.
greetings from java,indonesia
welcome!
Same happened to me, going to try go through warranty. Not impressed so far as they're trying to place the blame on me for the drone on active track..
that suck man! I crashed it again in my Spring pre emergant video also. hahaha I left the crash in the video. good luck!
Samsung Smart View Case has i cut out window. Yours doesn't, so your Samsung case is most likely fake.
@UmbroKhan different case. I had that one also. No card holder. Bought it at best buy, I doubt they sell fake shit.
I think you did better job than they would have. Looks perfectly aligned and sturdy hangers!!!!👍👍👍
Absolutely! Thanks!
wonder how is it with s24 ultra
So I just picked up the s24 ultra, but peak design does not have a case available yet. I emailed them and they don't have an ETA for the case either.
@@hansenshomestead ah i was looking at their website and didnt realize it says get notified instead of add to cart lol think ive read it might drop april or may
Mine lasted 10 days then those cock$uckers wanted me to pay for replacement parts and shipping from UK. Its made from mostly off the shelf parts, looks pretty cheap, $500 it has 2 moving parts and it doesn’t have a warranty, says allot about their business practices.
The blade should be spinning in the opposite direction. The displacer piston should be offset from the power piston 90 degrees in the opposite direction for the blade to spin correctly.
So your saying the blade should spin the opposite direction of the arrow that's painted on the blade?
But then it would be sucking air into the stove
thx just saved me $500 - going to skip buying after watching this.
The other models might work better, not sure. But if your in the same boat as me, with the soapstone stove. Yeah, seams to be a waste. More for looks, or conversation. Not for moving heat around.
Why you have to way China junk ? What’s the point ?
I got one and I loved it but my cheep £20 fan next to it was doing the business and it just wouldn't move any air disappointing but a thing off beauty all the same
Seems like a locking chuck is a needed for this unit unless a drop in air pressure upon unscrewing the hose is acceptable.
You will never get an impartial review from wranglestar or whatever his handle is. I blocked him when it became apparent he will say whatever the guy with the most money wants him to say. Useless channel to me
The S23 Ultra version of this case fixed the issue.
I hope you don’t keep your tires at 110psi. Looks like you got that from the tires max pressure, not the trucks recommended pressure. 110 is very high
I don't currently have the truck right now. But when I picked it up from the dealer when new, it came with that pressure on the front, and around 95 on each of the 4 rear tires. I'm pretty sure the door sticker was labeled with that pressure as well. I put about 45k miles on it that way. And had lots of weight in the back. My suv I run around 32-35psi. I forget the exact tires that were on the front, but they were continental 18 wheeler tires.
I just did a quick search, continental truck tires have a recommended range from 70-120 psi, depending on vehicle weight. And the 5500 I was driving had a rated weight of 19500 lbs. So 110psi was probably correct.
Oh dear!
😂😂😂😂
This is the 2nd best video on this product! Well done. It might be the best...I can't decide. I recently purchased this as well, and it is fantastic! I know you were wore out though because that joker is heavy! ((:
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Absolute rubbish
it just dosent work
Yeah, I literally have it running right now, it's cool to look at. But it's not doing anything for moving air. After a season of using it. It's the same. It didn't break in, it's just something pretty to look at. I honestly thought about selling it to my local wood stove store. But I like looking at it still.
i have a regency with just a after burner and it works great and very well built ,its a f2400 really good stove ,ps thats why i like steel stoves, what a shame all that money and its not performing ,holy heat batman @@hansenshomestead
Had mine for about 4 years on my Jotul F100 and it works fine and does what it says on the tin and looks wonderful.
It seems that this thing is made for looks more than performance. I love all the mechanics of it but that is stealing power from the fan.... A cool but bad design IMO.
Maybe the other models move more air.
Does the blue dye discolor the tank of ur sprayer??
I haven't noticed it staining. Maybe if you leave it in there for a while.
Must be the first time maybe give him another he needs a journeyman to put him under his wing for a little while
I think it came out pretty decent for my first. learned a few things, when I build an addition on my house Ill give it another go.
An easier Way would have been drilling and pounding feathers/wedges, jackhammers Are Always fun too tho
I have some more boulders to break up, Ill have to try the feathers method next time. thanks for watching.
Rokform has the same issue for the s23 ultra case
The nutsedge herbicide is for cool season grass?
Nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus) grows in cool or warm season grass. The herbicide, Halosulfuron-methyl is a selective post-emergent herbicide that controls sedges and other weeds in lawns, turf grass, and landscapes. This weed killer controls purple and yellow nutsedges and kyllinga.
Great video. Enjoyed the music too. So spray 2 days AFTER a cut then wait 2 days to cut again? Also better to spray early morning or evening? Does the grass have to be dry and also how long after can I water? Sorry for so many questions but TIA. 🤙
@HangryPandaMike 2 days after a cut, and don't cut for 2 days, I would Spray mid Day so the product will dry.. Glad to have you here!
You have to trim the receiving drip edge about 1/8 “ about 3” of length, and the top one will fit right over it like a glove.
I had gutters installed, you should see what they did to the drip edge. Destroyed it. Maybe I'll do a video on it. Completely mangled. But can't see it from the ground so I guess whatever. Haha.
Thanks for the video. It was nice to see the jack hammer in action.
I'm glad you liked it! Take care
Def tech makes great speakers
did you just use these over bluetooth? Wondering what the setup process is
Yes sir. I hooked these up to a cheap 2 channel insignia receiver via Bluetooth. Not sure if I will have time this year, but once I get the patio built, I want to build an outdoor subwoofer, and change the receiver to something more powerful.
@@hansenshomestead sick! Thanks for the tip broski!
I'm trying to research if this is still the case (no pun intended) for the S23. Have found conflicting information regarding magnetic cases intefering with the s pen. Do you have any experience with magnetic cases interferring with the s pen on the S23? Thanks for your time and for producing this content. Super helpful <3
www.peakdesign.com/products/everyday-case-samsung?variant=40040691859533 I don't have experience with the s23, but PD says on their site the S pen won't work correctly.
This is the main question I had about this. Thanks.
Sk
Yeap expensive
Yeah I bought a garage door Facebook it said 9feet it was 10 but I realized after I put it my garage tried same way call company 😅 they said 380 and they came i tried to tell me 2500 because it had special made door so I said screw them i made my own door cut 12 inches off add a aluminum angle and new rubber costed me 70 dollars
this is why I just do everything myself.
I wonder if Quad Lock Mag will cause the same issue
If it has a magnet on the case, I would say yes.
I have the same question and can't find a clear answer. I've heard yes and no. But it's always a guess. Haven't found anyone who actually has first hand knowledge.
@@fasfan well actually I bought Quad Lock MAG adaptor and S-Pen works fine, not sure about the whole MAG case though
@@DaveRunner Well that's at least something. Thanks.
I really wanted to get in on the Peak Design stuff for my new S23 Ultra but it's just a no go for this very reason. It's just a really dumb decision for them to release a product that actively negates one of the top reasons people buy the supported product. The only good thing is that Peak Design is clear about this issue on their website for any of the Ultras. I guess they just assume their product is that good that it's worth the inconvenience. For me, it is not.
NIce video! The magnets are issues. Too bad you have to switch cases between taking notes and video creation.
Yeah, it's too bad, super nice quality stuff. Good for non pen users or IPhone.
@@hansenshomestead I use LG V60. Since it's dual screen, I can draw on one and the other one for video watching.
Thanks for the video. You should change the title to reflect the specific issue because I haven't seen anyone else talk about it. Cheers mate, I'll just stick to Quad Lock 👍
Will do! Thanks for the feedback!
Every roofer in Florida installs the dri edge then the dryer paper. It fails inspection every time but they keep doing it.
yeah, Im no roofer, I just think like a rain drop.
Hi, does your stylus work with this case? Peak design website states that it wouldn't work. Just curious. Cheers
It does not work, I actually have a recent video about that issue, When I purchased this case a year ago, their was no mention about the S pen not working. Huge bummer! ruclips.net/video/n5PC37EH5KI/видео.html
Always never fail with me either 😂😂😂
I tbink if you push the plus and minus button at the same time it goes from psi to bar and back ... M12
Are you experiencing any leaks from bottom of unit?
I did! I was planning on doing a video on the leak, and possibly repairing the leaking tank. I called milwaukee and they sent out a replacement tank. So far the concrete tank hasn't leaked.
@@hansenshomestead So it's a tank problem and not a seal issue? Many people are complaining about leaks.
@DCC from what I saw, mine was leaking from the tank itself, where the tank was molded. I think if it was just a seal, it might be an easy fix . I need to find a sealer or epoxy that can seal up the leak, and withstand chemicals. I probably make another video on it closer to spring time. I just ordered $1500 worth of wire for my shed. Too many projects. No time! I'm still happy with the sprayer. And i got a replacement tank in about a month.
@@hansenshomestead Thanks! I wonder if JB Weld would work?
@@hansenshomesteaddid the make you ship back the leaking container?
WOW! Your camera is amazing!
Picked up an M18 inflator mainly for off-road use and it’s perfect. I’ve topped off my truck tires and motorcycle tires and other small things. Then took the inflator in my F-150 to the beach. Aired down to 15psi and inflated back up to 35psi and the battery is showing 3/4 still. As for duty cycle, the inflator seems to have safety feature built in and will just stop running when it’s too hot. The fan will stay running and eventually turn off. At which point I’m assuming it’s cool enough to run again.
I've been very happy with the M18 version. The m12 one is also great.
I'm sorry I'm laughing so hard 🤣
Nice. I tend to tell my speakers and tools to “stay” when I need to get something too.
Most of the time it works!
Yes you do have to clean the tank after every use. Turn it upside down and spray it out thoroughly or the chemicals will compromise the O ring seals.
Thats probably the best practice, But I have roundup sitting in that tank year round. still works. and I bet there is still residue prodiamine in my permagreen.
That’s a great review thanks for posting
Thanks. Glad you liked it!
