I wish you'd have compared the Amsterdam pro grade to the liquitex and golden pro grades. It's hard to find Amsterdam pro grade reviews. Comparing student and pro grades is a bit apples and oranges. Plus, putting some vaseline on the threads when you put on the caps will help you with the lids.

I am totally new to acrylic paint and trying to find something suitable in acrylic and cost effective to start out doing palette knife painting. Is the Liquitex as heavy body or are there several thinknesses of this paint. Also could I use Deserres for palette knife painting (I'm in Canada so it would be an easier one to source too)?
