Hearing the grooming process you described in your video hit me so hard. I was in an abusive home as a child and was both physically and sexually abused. I was kept separated from the other kids in the house, because I was the only one the abuse was happening to, which made me an easy target for my step grandfather, who was the one molesting me. He groomed me over a period of time, and the abuse escalated until he ended up raping me. I didn’t learn until just recently, that he had actually spent time in prison for child molestation. I find myself finally at a point where I’m really trying to work through all of it. I can’t help but get angry at the fact that he got away with what he did to me. My father even walked in at one point and saw what was happening and didn’t even bother calling the police and reporting it. Everyone turned their heads to what was happening to me as a child, and when I finally got out of the situation, and went to live with relatives, everything was pushed under the rug.. Unfortunately my step grandfather died when I was a teen, so I can’t even go to the police now that I’m an adult, and not afraid to speak up for myself, and report what he did. I’m still learning to process everything, and trying to learn how to give myself a voice.. I just wish I could have done something. Thank you for your video, and for sharing your story❤️

I was sexualy molested as a young person. I went to a house that belonged to a gay guy and his female roomate who was a kindof big lesbian with a shaved head. The gay guy went out for a while to go to work and the lesbian and her friend started to talk to me then the friend started kissing me and sucking on my neck and the lesbian woman took me into the bedroom and had sex with me. I dont have harsh feelings for them. But it was not how i imagined my first experince to be.

This video made me cry in a way i couldn't even describre with, after my dad died (he was not my abuser but he was extremely abusive in a physiological way, he was the one that was bloking me to start to heal) Its so hard to deal with the flashes and the most time goes by more i remember. And it's SO hard to be patient, i want it to be fast so i can forget it, but it isn't Watching this video made me feel hugged, i aways knew that i wasnt alone but i feel like i never belived that i want alone Seeing this help me ❤

I love this video. When I was young I loved spending time with older women, grandmothers, aunts, family friends. I loved asking them questions about their lives and was in awe of how the way things were "back then." Once when I was spending the weekend with my grandmother we were washing our faces and I marveled at how her skin moved when she put lotion on her face. I asked her, "Grandma, what's it like to be so old?" And she said she felt just as she had when she was 18 but when she looks in the mirror she saw an old woman. Many, many years later I'm so glad to have had her as an example of accepting the changes age brings and to enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your experience 💜

My uncle abused me when I was five, under cover of the bustle of extended family gatherings or when my parents were distracted when we lived with my grandparents. My memories of the abuse have been coming back in sensory flashes and visual snapshots over the past several months as my mind and body finally have space to process. It’s devastating, but at least now I can consciously work towards healing. Thank you for shining a light on this hushed up topic. Sending you so much love♥️
