No engine strike at all

Another fine flight. Today I started a flight from Oklahoma City to Phoenix, a route I flew many times as a commercial traveler since Southwest, with a huge presence in Phoenix, used OKC as a hub. I love the route, because the farmland out of OKC gives way from square plots of land to huge "crop circles" near Amarilllo Texas, then the farmland becomes the high desert of New Mexico, as one passes Albuquerque and flies towards the lower deserts near Phoenix. In the summer afternoons, there are always super cell thunderstorms to be crossed usually just past KABQ onward, and passengers flying into Phoenix are warned by the flight crew to stay buckled as the chop can be quite heavy. When I took flight lessons at Falcon Field in Mesa in a two place trainer, I could only do between mid November to mid April, because the chop was otherwise just two much for a small two place aircraft. I hit my noggin on the cabin structure a couple of times on final in our small 1320# gross Allegro 2000 Light Sport Trainer, and saw stars. The maker of the Allegro later redesigned that aircraft to allow for more headroom, and also had to redesign the gear because it would break sometimes if chop caught the aircraft while landing. The CJ4 is my fav default jet in the sim, I love the autopilot's control during flight, IAS hold, and the size and utility of the aircraft. I rarely fly routes longer than 2.5 hours, so the CJ4 is perfect, or my add-on Vision or HondaJet. If I want to do sight seeing, like Manhattan or the Washington Mall or the Pyramids of Giza, I fly the copters now or the Aerolight 103 or Top Rudder 103 add-ons. I love your "gate to gate" videos and appreciate the time you take to make them for we subscribing fans.

I feel the CJ4, followed by the TBM, is my fav default airplane. I have a movable and pan-able cabin viewpoint I set up for my Xbox controller, when I learned a camera trick from another youtube video. Salzburg to Vienna is a wonderful air route, I have taken the route by motorcoach a few times, once stopping at Melk Abbey overlooking the Danube in '82 (which is in the sim as well). I have the Vienna add-on city scenery--of all the places of worship, I have always found St. Stephen's cathedral one of the most beautiful, not just on the inside, but also the exquisite pattern of the roof tiles. Austria is worth a visit from the states, I would love to fly a trike there, which I learned to fly in '08 after I was done with fixed wing lessons, down the Inn River Valley.

I have the Xbox S. Mods cannot be installed but I like the CJ4 just as it is, great aircraft, easy to use autopilot. I set up a third cockpit view in the cabin using an Xbox "trick" which allows me to roam around the cabin and enjoy wing views from any seat using the arrow keys on my keyboard. Pannable wing views can be set up on any aircraft, I have them on all the default jets and turboprops including the new A310, as well as all of my add-on aircraft like the Cirrus Vision, and Carenado PC-12. Were I ever to get a new desktop, I'd get MSFS 2020 for that as well as the new XP12 so I could enjoy mods, unless someone finds a way of adding them to the Xbox S/X. Cool video. Love the CJ4, stellar rate of climb, plus speed hold is a plus. Happy Holidays from Phoenix AZ!🦢🦆 🦎 🦎

Schöner Flug :) Hätte mal eine Frage zur DA62 und dem G1000. Bei mir steht neben dem AP immer "YD" (Yaw Damper) Ist es möglich den abzustellen? Finde dazu leider nix. Kann mich auch nicht dran erinnern den angemacht zu haben.

Kann man dann den Flugplan dann auch auf simbrief impotieren?

Nice clear day over Atlantic going to Europe offset 2 miles 2000 feet below delta b777 we here them say hay Connie 747 that number 4 engine cowling looks dirty and greasy. I said that’s the way we like our girls sloppy.

Cinncanatti to Germany flight going thru indiapolis center female controller we checked on at fl330 and she said roger. 30 seconds later she said contact the next controller and she said hay connieit been short but sweet and I said yes it has it’s as wide as a cheese role.even the delta boys laughed

8Weather vaning its best. Max demonstrated xwind land 35 knots. Boeing Manuel for liability’s.i landed a 747 in 50 knot direct cross wind but blew 2 tires. One of the few times I was shaking. 16000 hours in B747 100,200,300,400.spread out on these fine machines.i remember ferrying a empty 400 from Jfk to a Air Force base and it was a cold December day in new York the visit was pegged out. The act controller came on said hay Connie that 400 is a fine machine can you slow up your climb.i was working the radios the fo was flying. I said what do you show us at he 14000 feet a minute I said we can do 13000 for you he laughed and said merry Christmas and I said and a happy new year

Seems like a short runway

It amazes me that these planes can do barrel rolls in the air and 180 drifts on the runway also. Awesome, and no one was injured. Great job too the crew. I wonder how confident they were at the time for there safety though. ????
