Estimating road users in 2024
When I started cycling for 13 years in the youth cycling club category in 1980, we sometimes rode through the dunes and you didn't encounter a cyclist or pedestrian and if you did, you just said hello. Now you have groups of cyclists that you first have to estimate what they are going to do. Not trained by a cycling club, but do it yourself. Cause: It was Corona time and everyone went outside. This has resulted in many inexperienced people on the road and in the outdoors who had previously been indoors for 40 years. Nice for them, but I don't often know what they are going to do.
