It took me quite a few runs before i ran into Hecuba (the dog). I believe you have to have the frog AND bird unlocked, and you have to level up a companion at least 4 times. Good run! (:

I think the dual perspective is good, but I would set your perspective as the main one and have replay in the corner, rather than the other way around.
