I think what’s scary is the theories about this level. Scariest one in my open that Fox died and his body is just in deep space, this whole mission is some dying hallucination dream.

Apparently this isn't a hallucination and he's actually stuck here forever. Quite grim for a game where a fox shoots lasers.

You know, i feel like they could re-explore the concept for a "Out of this dimension" bonus level in the future, if they ever make another starfox game that is. Like maybe Fox and co get lost there and have to find a way back like it's interstellar or something.

This would have been five star if they added a good story to this and not made all the missions so similar to one another. It was more or less a boss rush which took the fun out of this. The graphics did push the nes to its outer limits and is considered a true 3D game. And Sega had the balls to claim Sega does what Nintendon't lol! This game itself proved Sega was inferior, even if unreleased. I did like the first Starfox game personally as it had a story to follow and not a boss rush. The graphics were better in this game though, pushing the chip even further than the first game which was a feat itself!

So I guess this could be interpreted as a secret third ending. I wanna know what the devs were smoking, because you'd have to be as high as Stephen King was when he wrote IT to come up with this kind of stuff.

I've seen a few people say this idea and I think it makes sense. When fox broke the asteroid, a fragment few into his ship and cracked the glass. Following this, due to the lack of oxigen, fox begins to hallucinate this.

This game is from 1993, I was born in 1994, I played Starfox so many times in my entire childhood almost everyday, and I discovered this level thanks to the internet when I turned 18. My mind blew that day.
