Finite-Volume Second Order Flux Solution to Steady-State Temperature Distribution
This production is made for a fancy paper for CFD class. Here is GitHub link if anyone wants -- the paper and presentation are also included in that link.
github.com/limebat/2nd-Order-Flux--Upwind--for-Finite-Volume-Method-CFD/tree/main
Overview:
Throughout the discussion of a first-order approximation of temperature gradients for the integral, the approximation was limited to the first nearest-neighbors of the approximation. At maximum, there are up to 3 such cells derived for a triangle whose adjacent cells share faces, say in terms of k-hopes at $k=1$ triangle units away. However, the original derivation neglected the neighboring cells of these adjacent \( j \)-th cells, leading to over-d...

PD Control For Potentiometer And Motor -- DC Motor Go To A Prescribed Angle and Stop AE 4610 A04-B
Просмотров 16Год назад
Make a DC motor go to a prescribed angle and stop simulate step response to get PD control. Useful for engineers, maybe useful for baking beans.

Hello everyone, I would like to pick a quick note in the part when we talked about the unit circle for a stretching ellipsoid when the "needle" falls. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffon%27s_noodle Above is a quick link to a much more encapsulating curved needle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertrand_paradox_(probability) Above is a quick look into a much more in-depth look into the math. Regardless, here is the original derivation for a straight needle that was used: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffon%27s_needle_problem

Note to grader: This is the older video, please see new video: ruclips.net/video/DWNhZ4_kQXQ/видео.html
Note: the Tracker video shown in demonstration is an old video with outdated calibration stick. The calibration stick is readjusted to the 3.97, as promised. I forgor to swap out the small demonstration videos. No worries though, the graphics for comparison in lab objective in below comment were made with the new Tracker video. Happy midterms everyone
Heyo all, I forgor to mention my glowscript code link: www.glowscript.org/#/user/wzh... Objective of lab: Find general ratio of energies. What was the general contributor to loss? What is it proportional to? Find total internal energy. Compare to real and theoretical model, where theoretical is a perfect scenario of full returns from kinetic energy. I apologize ahead of time for being above grace period of 5 mins, am sick and am studying for a few midterms at the moment.
Error at ~1:14 Meant to say integral in respects to dx, distance, not derivative in terms of dx oopsies
Sorry for the slight video-audio delay btw, I have no idea what happened in my editing software. Regardless, have beans and cya later
Summary: Get a theoretical model for linear change in displacement and compare the results to what you observe. Then, if they line up and are linear, they're constant velocity. If they don't and the observed displacement seems to not decrease linearly, there's an acceleration and a net force is being applied to the object. Software: Glowscript and Tracker (for physics).
Hello

Make a petition to make it acceptable to eat potatoes in class. Only potatoes, yes... mmmmm
I agree
I am going to drive to your house and give you $100.
Can confirm, this man was not joking
an absolute mad man
