Great video! I’d like to add a 4th and even harder version called the seal burpee. Idk how to describe it but there’s plenty of vids on it. They’re great to challenge yourself even further
This is NOT a burpee.....this is a modification - a burpee push-up-jump....the original burpee, as developed by Dr Royal H Burpee in 1939, did not include a push-up or jump. The original true burpee was adopted by the U.S. Army in 1944 and used as part of its Physical Assessment Test (20 seconds max burpee test ). It has been over the last 15 or so years that fitness enthusiasts have egotistically offered their versions as a "correct" burpee. The burpee is the most bastardized exercise in history with so many variations.
Good advice for beginners, as you progress you should incorporate the correct form pushup though, its not necessary but more beneficial before adding e.g. navy seal style etc
I just started attempting burpees. Fractured my back and rotator tear awhile back. I’m much better now with doing certain exercises.I have problems getting my feet flat on floor and I personally feel that a person that land on their toes find it challenging to land flat on feet otherwise most will refrain from doing that. I watched a lot of videos saying to land on feet. What can one do as way of exercise etc. to avoid landing on toes? I’m sure one need to be more explosive in the movement. Any suggestions appreciated. A burpee land on feet video post would be a good video to post because I can’t find one on RUclips. Any suggestions on how to land on feet better? I love your post 👍🏾Realize this is a large comment😂 Much Joy🤍
Lady leave it to the convicts to dominate this movement the more flexibility and mobility the more advanced and shredding and strength and conditioning you will get.. Lil puppet knows what’s best ok ese
This is exactly what I was doing wrong- recovering on my toes before squat jump part of burpee. I will try to recover on my feet from next time. Thank you so much.
You should note that it isnt smart to drop onto your chest. This vid shows incorrect technique, you will go into a plank then do the push up. Its all form and control
Clearly not heard of: "Knees over toes guy" lol as knees over toes in squat position is actually good for burpees & transference of power without loss through lack of tension. Try fast squat jump with maximum power without coming up onto your toes at either extreme: ergo in the bottom of the squat or as your feet leave the ground! Try rowing without doing the aforementioned. Doing the burpees as you suggested is biomechanically unstable & people will get injured! I have done 100,000 & 100,000 & 100,000 of burpees as I have just described: I jump & row as I have described which is contrary to your advice. I am injury free & my knees are in good health!!!
Perfect
Gud💪🏻
Thank you.😊

You both are in terrible physical condition. Why should people listen to you guys when you're both badly out of shape?
These are so hard for me....I have long legs...hard to kick out...harder to kick in...
Thank you so much

Great demo, many thanks.
That looks like a crossfit gym, but you are not teaching the crossfit fish flop.
Why is she not doing it..
When does a coach play in the game?
It's a sprawl not a burpee
The best.
So thats crossfit burpee version.. Prison style burpee is different approach and so military style burpee.
