man i skipped a whole arc because of this guy. i can’t stand him. just because he got hurt in the past now everyone has to suffer? get out of here man. i respect his abilities in combat but i’ll never follow such a leader.
It's the classic story to feel empathy for the villain. In his case, it's just weird as he fights for the supposed "good guys", Qin. Agree with you man! Still, I'm always impressed by how ruthless he can be.

Shika was the unsung hero of this entire franchise. She pulled him out from the depts of despair and built him up to become the future First Emperor of China.
She was indeed his saviour, without her and Shou Bun Kun things could have ended up very different

We're actually getting to the stage where the Hi Shin Unit can claim decisive victory over the biggest battles of many other settings. It's ridiculous to even visualize, but Shin, Kyoukai, and the lads just outright win the Battle of Pelennor Fields at this point.
That's a good comparison haha totally agree the Hi Shin Unit is just an essential piece to winning battles. I was so impressed with their growth.

Surpassing the Monstrous Bird of Qin is no small feat even for the new generation of the 6 Great Generals. And honestly, I do not believe Shin will reach the likes of Ouki's acumen, not when he still heavily relies on Ten to draw up their battle strategies, however, I believe the Hi Shin Unit will far surpass Ouki's army simply due to their undying love and loyalty for Shin, as we've seen throughout the manga and that in itself is a feat worthy of the title Great General of the Heavens! Spoiler! . . . It's too bad we won't really get the chance to see Riboku vs Shin confrontation because of how events in ancient Chinese history play out :/
