Well I guess I am a fan now. Do not believe in mind control! Do not believe in mind control! I'm just living the anxiety dream! Do not believe in mind control!
Miss Alison I feel you are a wonderful artist. I was introduced to your video by one of my professors in college and Corporate Responsibility is one of my favorite music videos I've seen. For me, it reflects my relationship with Mother Earth. Though I do love her dearly, I am well aware we are the biggest parasites to her, sucking her dry like a leech. Yet the hard reality is now I can't live without everything we have made through the industrial revolution. I mean to live without technology or medical advancements, I simply can't do that. It is interesting reflecting as how could we claim that we love nature yet we know we are hurting it? However I am well aware Mother Nature is still alive and I'm still alive, so I'll live this life to the best of our abilities like how our Earth will live to the best of its abilities. Thank you for your art Allison. Sincerely, Roxanne Allen
Thank you so much, Roxanne! I super appreciate your thoughtful feedback and kind words. I'm pondering many of the same things as you! So happy the work resonated. 💖
@@atanenhaus I think part of what makes things more comforting knowing of my mistakes on Earth, well the Earth doesn't care. The only one who has killed more life than humans is Mother Earth herself with natural disasters. While our existence is still harming the world, it still doesn't mean that our Earth doesn't love us as it does. The earth is messed up like we are and we are going to live our messed up lives together. Granted that is just my crazy perspective.
Thank you, so glad you like! We will be putting up Alien at some point in the future-we want to revise the video a little bit before we officially post. :)
Thanks for asking! The linework portraits are digital illustrations by Alex Kittle (www.behance.net/panandscan + www.etsy.com/shop/panandscan), and then the colorful backgrounds are digital glitch art that I created (allisontanenhaus.com + instagram.com/atanenhaus + www.etsy.com/shop/slogansfornothing). They do resemble paintings in some instances, but they are all digitally created using smartphone apps. :)
So sick!!
Love!
