McIntyre Zoom Family Reunion, March 21, 2021
grew up 4 blocks from there it was always my dream to go to school there
This video was made when I was born!
Class of 1978, remembered Mr Derendal and Coach Hoerster who became head coach at Loyola Academy later on and passed away so suddenly 2003.
The land is beautiful, although the fields are probably wet a lot. The house would have to be refurbished if bought. And that's not a barn, it's a shed for storing things such as lumber, or probably a wagon in the old days. .I saw no barn. One could keep chickens in some of the out buildings, or feed. Your accent says "Chicago" or somewhere Midwest, and your ignorance of farming says "city dweller".
This was posted on the day i was born.
Yoooo! We got the same exact birthday! Nice to see another fellow 12 y.o. at the time I am writing this!
Yeah, super cool! Nice to meet you! :3
great pics
🥺❤️
It was a grand time with a grand old Irishman and friend. Thanks for sharing and being a good friend as well. Savor the memories, Cow dammit!
Beautiful video! Made a few videos myself at Morton Arboretum. Subscribed.
Where's Bro Frank?
I saw him twice. From two different eras.
Beautifully and artfully presented!
Thank you... my grandmother was Baptized, made communion and confirmation there!
I worked in the GT Bookstore for Father Don Suberlak. Father Don is alive and well and living in California. Has fond memories of his times at Gordon ! -Bill Pedroza class of 72
Fr. Marion Wroblewski C. R. passed away on May 4, 2020. and Fr. Ted Napiorkowski C.R. passed away in 1995.
Fr. Rich McGee C.R. died on August 14, 2012.
Thanks. This was the first version of the video. McGee appears in the updated version.ruclips.net/video/blchC02Q0so/видео.html Have additional five more to add to the next version.
I'm afraid I'm confused on the way this was produced. If you had multiple pictures of the person why not have them together? It only made it unnecessarily longer. GT class of 71.
The video was produced to honor deceased faculty. Two photos, the earliest and latest photos available at GT were included. Length was not the consideration. It was actually produced for a Faculty Reunion that has been delayed due to the virus.
@@Beaudoin5855 Wow never expected a reply. Okay let me go again. I should mention I'm a former WKGTer who went on to a 45 year career in local TV. This is coming from a pro. It's too long. You have some people with several pictures and you have them spread out over the entire piece. Why not give a person with multiple photos a section of it's own interspace them with the people you only have one of. Doing this might actually make it feel shorter. It feels like they are dying over and over. At the end you should have removed the word Credits from the template you used for the crawl. iMovie ? Lot of people I knew in this. It's a shame GT is just becoming a memory.
Fond memories of beautiful people I live my life with. Thank you.
It's pronounced Ta'mun the gh are silent. The headstones haven't been vandalised but 200 years of soil movement, weather and general lack of care have caused this and if you visit other old graveyards in Ireland you'd be greeted by the same site. People don't vandalize graves
A wonderful tribute to a happy shared life!
Life after the Skybox.
Thank you so much for putting this together. Is was a wonderful time and we were so happy you could both be there.
Do you have any other pictures from this exhibit? I am looking for a specific piece I saw at this exhibition and I can't find anywhere!
I have a couple more photos, but not much. What piece are you looking for?
Beaudoin5855-- I didn't see your reply until now! I'm looking for a caption ARTIC wrote on one of their walls. The caption was scribed in a sort of dictionary format with a term and then a description. The term described wide open land, and the happiness one has with said land. This term was a major theme in much of Thomas Roberts' works. I believe this was located just on left-hand side of the left doorway in frame 1:43.
I "tweeted" at ARTIC awhile ago but they weren't sure what was there!
This was my Grammer school, from preschool until 5 grade. Then we merged with Resurrection and became St. Martin deporres from 6-8th grade.
Lovely...I found myself in first grade, and my older sister's class photo as well as my Graduating class of '58. How nice to see this, thanks for posting. Lots of great memories from St. Thomas Aquinas...
Impressive presentation. Thank you.
Sehr schön! <3
Hi - How wonderful to hear from someone who lived in the area from which my great, great grandparents resided. Do you know any Corcorans or Sullivans from Drumbarry or Dennbane, respectively?
Hated to miss this event but thanks, Elaine, for letting me evesdrop on all the festivities!
The locals told us this part of the cemetery behind the protestant church was the old Catholic cemetery, but I have no proof. The current Catholic cemetery only dates from the mid-20th century. I was unable to locate any other old Catholic cemeteries in Taghmon.
Thank you Elaine and Committee. You guys did a fantastic job! What a great day of remembering a time that is very important to most of us. The school and the church look wonderful. So many memories!! we have you to thank. We appreciate all of your hard work! Ann Marie
great pics
I loved the video. We were in Ireland in April 2011. Not one day of rain. We hit some of the same spots you did. This video makes me want to go right back. It is a beautiful county. I am a STA 59 Grad, and Siena 61. I am also 100% Irish, as many of the St Thomas kids were. Anyway, beautiful job on the video. Ann Marie Devlin Lundstrom

Thanks Elaine for making it possible for me to enjoy the December gathering of CAGGNI. We drove through a 3-hour blizzard to see the St. Olaf Concert which was worth all we went through to be there. Missed all of you.
