Posted this video right on time, I have a topic 2 test tomorrow, i hope this last bit of revision will save me😭🙏
me too!! good luck
@selinadaswani good luck!
Good luck!
👏👏👏👏👏😊😊😊
Thanks, when for the rest of the topics??
As soon as I can push them out while working full time. My goal is 1-2/week.
thank you so much this video helped me a lot
You're welcome! Glad it helped. I love getting notes like this from viewers. Please spread the word about my channel.
How do you proactively identify tipping points or critical thresholds? Especially in systems or processes in which one does not have expertise.
That's a great question! The honest answer is "I don't know." My instinct is to consider and act upon the advice of the experts who study those systems or processes when they predict we're approaching a tipping point.
@ thank you! As part of a problem solving toolkit I’m putting together I was hoping to include something (tools, methods) on this, but I think you’re right.
Thank you so much for posting videos. They are really helpful!
I'm so glad youfindthem useful. Please spread the word about my channel
2.5.8 BSFS This is bull shit for sure.
@@samuelspade889 no BS. Just science.
Love your educational content. Thanks and keep it up 😃
Thanks! Please spread the word.
your videos are literally saving me right before my exam thank you!!
Woohoo!
Is the new SL ESS course going to be more difficult than the previous one?
@@alexanderwang5060 no I don’t think so. Most of the content is similar. It’s just been reorganized. There are a few differences in topic 1 about the sustainability frameworks that did not appear in the old syllabus.
Thank you
You're welcome!
You don't understand shit...
Did u see the chart of carbon in atmosphere for the past 200 mil years? Gl doing anything about natural temp and carbon ups and lows(we might be fine since it happens ciclical)
Yes I have seen those CO2 graphs. The important part is the *rate of change* of atmospheric CO2. Yes it has been and always will be cyclical on geological timescales of millions of years. Throughout Earth's history, whenever there's been a rapid change in CO2 levels (up or down), there's been a mass extinction event as species struggle to survive a rapidly changing climate. The *rate* of atmospheric CO2 increase over the past 200 years is significantly higher than at any time since the K-T event that wiped out the dinosaurs - an extinction event brought about by rapid climate change.
And then there’s a big fire beneath our feet of molten magma basically rocks just burning on fire there’s all that smoke that would be coming off of it where would it be going or no whenever you smoke whether it’s a tobacco pipe or a pot pipe there’s gonna be a resin build up when you smoke cigarettes do you have a Tara build up in your lungs, same thing as part of smokers and cigars
Thank you Mr Kremer! You quite literally saved my exam!
Glad you found it helpful, but you still did it yourself!
What about the HL knowledge points for 2.2? Also, something that I think would be helpful is if a topic like 2.2 is going to be more than 1 video, maybe listing the video part in the format "Part # of #" thanks for all your help in learning about ESS!
HL coming soon. thanks for the feedback!
@ritzfactor here's the video for your 2.2 HL content - ruclips.net/video/1adZG3NtO0Q/видео.html

Appreciate the video, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much! Your videos are really helpful, you are my saviors! I’ll definitely recommend you to all my friends
Thank you for the support!
Thank you so much for these videos. I learned more from them than from my lessons. Thank you for helping me graduate :))
Awesome! I love getting messages like this.
Hi when im preparing for Ess is it better to make notes from the book or Save my exams
the book is usually more detailed, while sites like save my exams show the essentials but no more. you can pass with save my exams but will do better using the book.
Hello Mr. Kremer, are the slides for 2.1 and beyond (new syllabus) available on TPT yet? Thanks!
2.1 should up in a few days. The rest will go up as my classes make their way through them.
just found your page, i’m gonna send it to all my mates… Thank you Mr Kremer you might just save my career 🙏😵💫
@@Gear5Gojo thanks for the support. Good luck!
perfectly in time i have an exam tomorrow!!!!
Happy to help! How it went well!
I just studied this in school!!! thanks
You’re welcome! There’s more to come
Wait, microplastics absorb contaminants? This is like DDT but completely out of our control at this point. So are we basically waiting for a public health crisis to hit us?
Yes microplastics are small enough that many pollutant particles cling to them (kind of like rain droplets forming around a “seed” particle in clouds). As they get eaten they work their way up the food chain, especially in marine food webs, and can impact human health - not to mention how they affect the organisms that rare eating them daily.
thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome!
thank you sm for uploading these vids!!
You’re most welcome! I plan to release the next one as soon as I’m home in a few days.
I like that your shirt matches the painting behind you. Interesting short!
Thanks - for both. The shirt was kind of a coincidence.

@@reikidagi I suppose one could argue that we’re creating our own predators now with the spread of pathogens globally, particularly ones that are resistant to treatment…
This really helped me, hope you will make the following chapters soon!
I’m working on the next one now but my school’s on break this week so May not publish for a few more days.
Interesting!
Sure is!

I have a Ess test on 1.1 -1.3, what do u recommend I do. It is in a few hours.
Focus on the EVS characteristics, know how to draw and analyze a systems diagram, and be able to explain sustainability in terms of consuming resources at a rate lower than they are replaced through growth or reproduction.
Thank you sir
You are welcome!
Thank you so much! Would really appreciate it if you could continue doing this for the entire course. If possible could you please do this for HL also
Glad you liked it - that’s why I make these videos. I intend to make videos for the entire syllabus, including HL. It will take some time as I make these while creating the slide decks and teaching the class. Look for a release every week or two. Please share with other ESS students to help me grow the channel.
Thank you sooo much....really helpful ,you teach so amazing you are my saviour !!
@@PanshiKothari woohoo! Love to hear it! Glad I can help. Please share so I can grow the channel and reach more students about ESS.
you've got a great voice
Thx!
I've been teaching for 18 months now. When I was getting the hand of it all, there comes a change in the syllabus! Thanks, I've watched many of your videos and used some of them in classroom as well. I like the way you organise visuals to instigate some reflections as well.
Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you’re finding them helpful. It’s a bit of a challenge to put them together between lessons. Luckily the syllabus isn’t going to change for many years now!
@@MrKremerScience I've been creating some material and could share them with you if you like. I also welcome feedback, especially on the new lenses.
