Quick video on some custom door card membranes that I put together after finding the bottom half of my doorcards completely ruined! I’ve done these with some thick plastic sheeting and aluminium tape. Hopefully these will save the expensive replacement doorcards I’ve ordered!!

1988 scirocco here. Anyone know part number for the cluster bulbs or maybe led version mine have been out for years

Hey Mate, Thank you very much for this video. My new mk2 cluster has what im assuming is a dead high beam and idiot led. If you are still around. Can you tell me what kind of LEDs you got for this? What wattage?

question mate, how did you fix your panels? mine was submerged and the bottom of the card is fucked
You are going to need a hot air gun Get ABS plastic sheets and for them to your door card
@@AutodidactEngineer too late, sold the car two years ago 😂 did manage to find some panels for a price

Yes it did, we had a lot of rain here recently and no water on the doorcards!
Awesome, I'm in the process of redoing mine myself. The water comes through the window seals on the doors so thats the next thing that will be refurbished.
