I of course write the preceding several hours after the announcement of yet another end of a Midland Non League era namely the sudden but not totally unexpected resignation from the NPL Midlands Division and I suspect subsequent folding of Walsall Wood FC following several postponements Walsall Wood always being great hosts and always give us at Boldmere St Michael's fiery but fairly contested games. Another unfortunate chapter in recent West Midlands Non League History. Makes you wonder if anything can be done to arrest it.

Ai the Beehive brings back some memories from when we (Boldmere St Michael's) used to face them in the old Midland Football Alliance. Also knowing plenty of people associated with the club sad to see the decline of Paget Rangers compared to how they were.
