Welcome! Please join me as I document my solo self-drive safaris in Southern Africa, Kruger National Park, as well as other National Parks and destinations. I am passionate about wildlife and nature. I search for amazing sightings, beautiful landscapes, and remote areas in the bush. Nothing gives me more pleasure than sitting by a watering hole and watching not only the big five, but also common game, as well as Cheetah, Hyena, Wild dogs, and Bird species. It is always so much fun to watch Elephants playing in the water. I love Lions, and Leopards.
To me, it is a privilege to be in Gods beautiful nature with a campfire, starry nights, early morning, and sunset game drives. This refreshes the soul and awaken excitement, gratitude, joy, and peace.

He was probably going on a patrol, because he was also marking his territory. Lions patrol their territory once every few days.

Hi Buffie, hope you are well, it was taken with a drone on a private Game farm. Drones are not allowed in Kruger Park or Nature Reserves
@@irenesafari yes thats what I thought and why I ask. Thank you for your reply I've often wondered why they don't have cameras all over to keep an eye on all of the critters running around?
Hey! @@buffiesilver I know you didn't ask me, but I think why they don't have cameras around is firstly it's expensive to set up and maintain and they don't want to disturb the animals. There are many waterhole cameras though which are setup because they know that animals will come and go whereas cameras setup up elsewhere are not guaranteed to have sightings and may not be worth it.

Awe it's cute but I always worry the bigger cubs will hurt the littlest ones. I see mom came back which is a good thing. I love the Satara pride, and the Shish coalition. May they have a long life.

@@NgannouSix9 just playing can sometimes get rough, an accidentally hurt one. Not saying they would intentionally do that.

@@NgannouSix9 it happens but not sure on the statistics. I can look it up to find out.
@@NgannouSix9 I can't find statistics on it but I know that it does happen that's why the mothers will stay away from the pride until the cubs are at least 6 weeks old. Which is a hard timefor mom because she has to hunt and has to leave the cubs by themselves.

They're approaching death, it happens to all lions, at one point they're big and strong and a couple years later they become skinny and weak

this two remind me of thier uncle Ginger and HB matimba gene are impressive....they almost 10 yrs not on their prime anymore but they conquered their first pride 3 1/2 or 4 yrs old is quite a peet....
