Hi Friends! Today’s video I am sharing my experiences from a recent trip to South Australia to visit, “Chihuly in the Botanic Garden”, glass installation/exhibition. Dale Chihuly is a world, renowned glass artist, and it was an absolute joy to see his work in person. In this video, I share with you my favourite pieces from the glass art exhibition, a fun trip to Glenelg beach, and two special paintings from my trip. The first artwork is a gouache painting of a beautiful tree in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens. The second artwork is a soft pastel painting, which I did while at Glenelg beach. Did you use your gouache straight from the tube?
@@jerrygill4828 Hi Jerry, thanks for your comment. I mixed the colours slightly, in my palette, to lighten or brighten. So for example, brightening green with a bit of yellow, darkening with blue. I must prefer to use colour straight out of tube, but often it needs tweaking.
