fuck, the most delicious expensive fish (big) swam up to him, and he drives it away and catches small, cheap fish... stupid. It is one of most expensive fish in Japan, named kue.
What species of Grouper are down there? I recognize the Goliath but have trouble separating Black, Gag and Scamp.
It was all gags as far as I remember. Besides the Goliath of course

He, He, back in the day before waterfproof flashlights, stuck half my body in a cave, when my eyes adjusted , had a 9ft Nurse shark sleeping not 3ft away. Almost had a heart atack.

Awesome dive and video. I kept thinking, "When is he gonna shoot one of those big sheepshead?!" When you turned at the end, I knew that big guy was done for. Such a great environment, great vis, and absolutely every kind of fish you might want to see (or spear). I would love to dive this site.
It was an unbelievable dive. Current makes it challenging to dive.

You don’t know how to use a compass from your anchor, 20 feet over to that wreck in that clear of water ??? Lol
First of all, vis was probably 100’+ so obviously more than 20 to the wreck. Second of all, of coarse I know how to use a compass. I probably dive more in a week than a keyboard warrior such as yourself dives in a few years. Third of all, sounds like you don’t know how to use a wreck reel. Obviously it is the more sure fire option to make sure I can find the anchor. I generally don’t give stupid comments like yours the time of day but that one was too good to pass up. I can get you in a refresher course. Sounds like you need it 😂

Shame on you that you use tanks for spearfishing...maybe you physical condition is not good enough so you have to compensate...more than a shame, you completely miss the pleasure of spearfishing and you share a bad example with others...

Yes I do. I’m not to the level of spearfishing these 100+ ft wrecks without air though.
@@Tyler_Whisner Fair enough, still much more sustainable and selective than other fishing methods. You should do a video where you clean up invasives since you aren’t on a breath hold 🤙🏼🤙🏼
@@RhettsRides did you watch the video? Shot a lion fish. I’m not sure there are more than 10 people on this world that could free dive this wreck and shoot a fish. 100ft with an unreal current. Most folks won’t scuba dive it with a strong current. Let alone dive it alone. It has its own set of challenges. Have you ever dove the outer banks of NC?
@@Tyler_Whisner Yeah that was a massive lion fish. Love to keep them off the wrecks. Are lions the only invasive you have in NC? And no never dove OBX. Moving to NC for nursing school this January so hoping to do some diving in my free time. I have surfed OBX tho and I know the current is like a river.
@@RhettsRides the only thing edible one I know of. The best free diving is going to be around Wilmington. Closest to the Caribbean you will find. Anything north is going to be dirtier water and more current. Also much better selection of fish in shallow water down there. Good spearfishing my way starts at 80ft generally. There are some exceptions. Where will you be going to school?
