You don't have to remove the headrest they attack to the headrest. They give you a plastic bracket that attach to the headrest poles

All you gotta do is disconnect the plug outlet and take a wire tester to it. their should be 3 wire ones positive ground, (continuous power) meaning power all the time. Black goes to the ground of the car. Test the other two with a tester. Turn the car on accessories and test the wires, the wire that stays on when the car off is the continuous wire the yellow connects to this one. The wire that lights up only when the car is on. is the positive wire that should be connected to the red.

You right I looked into it an they looked a little bigger. To bypass the wire issue I ran hid lights plug in play had no issues with the wires. I paid 40s for the lights

@@MRTGM currently I’m still using the 98 headlight wiring and bulbs I just took out the 04 bulbs out. Also bought new 04 headlights and splices. When I get a chance I’m going to do the full conversion so when I install the switches everything will be sturdy.

Thank I appreciate it. Yeah, not a fan of some factory setups. With the wire kits now avaliable its so much easier to install. I hate having wire hanging or just everywhere.

@MRTGM I wouldn't even attempt it. Tried stereo installations for a year or so back in the day and said "never again" 🤣. Much worse now. I'm just hoping I can tap into what I already have that REQUIRES me to sign into the truck wifi provided by AT&T pf course. No option to connect via Hotspot. So I am to change that, even though I won't use it that often.
