Is the limit how much water is already in the tank or is it how fast does the carbonator carbonate water? that's the question I am most curious about. If you have water coming in the inlet from either daisy chaining kegs or another source, can the carbonator keep up with serving drinks as the water refills. Will the new water get carbonated fast enough to keep serving.

Please help: I have 2 carbonators, 1 i bought used from a restaurant and the other i just bought brand new. My issue is when i purchased the used one, i took it apart to clean the water tank and it had a bunch of black flakes that dissolve when you press, i decided to purchase a brand new McCanns because didnt want to take a health risk, but i was so curious i pulled the floater off and low and behold there are black flakes on the bottom of a brand new unit. My water is filter with Reverse Osmosis. Im trying to understand if its residue from the pump, or the stainless tank.
