This game is so good in FPP, the gunplay is arcadey but still super weighty and you can easily punish players who are too aggressive with rushing from a distance (but also rushing is still a very powerful strategy). So much fun tension is let out of the game when playing it in TPP though, these kinds of games live and die on the tension of when to be bold and peak and when not too, TPP robs this kind of game of that fun and it mystifies me why it is the more popular game mode. I at least wish there was a mode where the camera was in third person but you could only see enemies when you had a direct LOS with your actual character (not the third person camera). I don't mind the third person view it's the being able to get information without taking risks that I don't like, it removes so much of the psychological posturing from firefights.
