For the Arch finish. Maybe a flat finish unframed and then put it in a glass dome. They make domes around that size for dolls and hobby stores have them.

Hello! For the arched finish, you can buy mounting board and cut it into an arch shape. I did this recently for a stitching book club project (Secret garden). For cabling I always just use a normal dpn, I'm not sure it does get easier with time, I did manage to sort of learn the pattern I did, but you've picked some challenging cables. I think charted/ visual patterns are easier to read and remember, but other than that, just keep going. :D I really enjoyed this video. There were some beautiful projects and finishes.

Hi, Caroline! For your Tiny Modernist how about a rectangular frame but with a single or double arched mat? I think that fabric just sets off the stitching beautifully! Nice job!!

Your finishes are beautiful! I love the red frame for the Forest Fairytale SAL - it's perfect. I'm considering doing the 2025 SAL for MFE, but I am also trying to manage my WIP pile. It's a losing battle. Happy stitching 🖤

So my MFE sadly is not finished! It is really off somewhere and I stitched it on 32 count cause that was the fabric I had at the time and it is just too big to use the way I want for a special project. So I think I’m gonna have to restart it on 36 or 40 count.

Do you happen to have also bought fabrics from them in the past? I want to place an order but I can't find a way to change the size of the piece of fabric I want so I was wondering if you knew how to do this :D

Great progress and beautiful finishes! I'm still undecided about Jingle Balls. We have the office Christmas Party on the 6th and since I have to travel to my old town for that, I'm considering spending time with friends on Saturday. So the available attending time will be shortened for me.

I think Cinnamon Stars will look gorgeous in the wooden tray, it’s gorgeous Caroline. Your MFE finish is spectacular and so different from others I have seen. Yey, can’t wait for the Jingle Ball, I’ve bought my entry ticket and today I finally caved in and bought the Stacy Nash class, I adore the inside/backside of the gingerbread house. I’m still debating if I want to purchase some merchandise because I figure I can wear it for Christmas too! 💗

A late: Happy Flosstubaversary 🥳 It was great to meet you in person at StitchBasel, even if we did not spend a lot of time together. - for the project you are doing on the natural fabric, where you said that it feels like it is ripping your floss every time you pull your thread through. Maybe try using a larger needle, that should open the hole in the fabric a bit more, so the floss can glide through. - You showed us the kit floss from Dimensions. I tend to put them flat on a surface, then group the flosses "hanging" down one side into three and very loosely braid them. That way they do not tangle and it is still easy to pull a thread out from the top. Hope this helps. Happy stitching 🪡🧵🥰
