How tall is the black base ?

We apologize that you had issues with our tuner. If it is installed and working correctly it can not affect your battery. If the bike runs fine without it you did not have the setting correct. They come pre programed if you have modified the exhaust or air. If is is stock then setting have to be changed. Let me know your contact information and I will send a prepaid shipping label and we will test for free.

nice work... unplugging the sparks plugs and turning the engine 5 sec at a time a few times helps w/ priming the coolant and oil pumps. friendly reminder to recheck the coolant level after a few days preferably after the fan kicked in a few times (sign the thermostat cycled). in my experience each time i drained the radiator i later had to add a little coolant after the initial fill up. (i think it takes about 250ml to go from min to max level).

What kind of oil did you soak your plates in?
