Any little scuffs or damage due to taking wheelchair and mobility aids in and out they don't mind or charge you for. But like any driver if you have an accident the insurance covers it.

Not too far in the future I might have to look at a new car with a bigger boot as I have more aids other than just my wheelchair now... So I will be looking different cars again... I'll put it on the list for a new car shopping vlog.

I've never had a french car, I did consider the Citroen DS3 sporty one a few years ago. Wouldn't be good now as the boot space needed is getting more and more 😂😂😂.

Why is that?.. I just got a 45k car for £2,890 upfront cost. Doesn't cost me anything a month. All I.pay for is fuel. Everything else is covered. Services, m.o.t, tyres, windows. Even had a 2k charging port installed at home for free. So what am I missing?

@deadstreet1675 you are paying £75 a week of your pip allowance, that's £300 a month. You spend 12k for 3 years of pip and by then that car value drop to 14to 19k and mobility don't let u buy car at the end.

You can purchase the car at the end of the lease if that person wishes, you can have the lease extended or you can get a car and all the adaptions someone needs a different way.... It's personal preference 😉😊

@@UziGR6642 As far as I'm aware I've always been told that at the end of the lease you have the option to buy the car at a used car price.... I've never done it. It may have changed or each manufacturer/dealership could be different.

I think quite a few Brits like to do it independently from motability to nowadays. Motability is great but you do have other benefits if you can do it other ways to.

I am looking at things a lot differently now and understand I took a lot for granted when I was able to do more than I can now. Apologies if this is a taboo question to ask

@@TdfJNR that's an alright question. Yes I've been disabled from birth, I have a disability called cerebral palsy.
