Hello sir, Thanks a lot, the video was really helpful. I have a question. Now that I installed SCAPS 1 D every file is appearing on the dekstop. When I am trying to make a new file and store the files there scaps dont work. When I bring the files back to deskop it works. Can you please explain because i would like to not appear on my desktop all these files but only scaps3312 which i use
I mean the files: absorption, license, occupation, results...
I think you have installed SCAPs on the desktop. But you can make folder in other drive too.
These files must be saved in the installed directory like absorption or Def folder

Sir can I write my paper without using the absorption file...instead of that using the default sqrt method of scaps as I am not getting absorption data for my absorber layer .So I am simulating my model without using any absorption file for any layer instead of that I m just using the default Scaps sqrt method.... Should i have to mention in my paper that i m using the default absorption sqrt method or not? Please help

I am from Bangladesh sir. I recently start my work with scaps. This video is very helpful for mine and others. But i have a question- Can i get the value of thickness, bandgap, cb,vb from any mathematical calculation? Or the source of them?
You can use DFT analysis to get these values.
Sir very helpful video. Thanks for uploading. Sir in the tandem cell the bottom cell is illumimated with filtered AM1.5G spectrum.. So Is it confimed that if I use this script file then illumination to bottom cell with filtered spectrum is taken into account !!
It's just a script file that connects top and bottom cells, you need to use it separately for the filter spectrum. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
If the absorption data is unavailable in the literature or any kind of database, then how we perform the SCAPS simulation?
You need to keep the built in absorption coefficient of scaps 1D in that case
