Fusion combo up is nearly always better because it also provides increased party gauge. Please note that blade and fusion combo up cores only increase the initial DoT value. The amount by which DoT increases during each smash is not affected by these.

@aakashbasu3219 thank you very much! I'm aware about smash I just wanted to know how to maximise DoT when using specials. I thought It'd be better to put blade combo boost aux on dagas so it will have better synergy with his skill Regal Presence and I'll have bigger damage numbers. Shame on me :(

Morag is liable to get hit by lethal harpoon during crossette's special which may just one shot Morag. Crossette doesn't need any other aux cores so ice def/absorb for safety

Yeah XD I remember when I used to hate how chain attacks went into overkill instead of switching enemies like in 1, but its grown on me, I like being able to dish out 50m damage in 1 chain attack.

If kurodil is not enraged you can break with decently high chance. If kurodil is enraged you cannot break without overdrive and even with overdrive it is hairy. That is why you do the nonsense at the beginning where rex runs around. Kurodil enrage is a fake art and he will use it asap, but if rex is his aggro target and rex is too far away then kurodil cannot enrage. I believe that is how it works.
