APOLOGIZING Without Seeking FORGIVENESS
Be careful about saying sorry the wrong way 🧐
Ever stopped to think about what it really means to apologize? Is saying "sorry" just a way to fix things, or is there something deeper behind it? In this video, I share my thoughts on what it means to truly apologize-without expecting forgiveness in return.

What do you think can be an example of a Wrong Apology?😓
I think it is super important to change after an apology, not just apologizing and moving on.
I totally agree with it :)
I struggled with this for so long before accepting that there is no “fixing” it and I just have to take the L and move on
Sometimes things just need time to chill down and then you may try again to fix what needs to be fixed :)

Thiago ones saved an old lady from a burning building, so you guys should trust what he is saying!
This likely made its way into the modern Gen Z to Gen Alpha era with the introduction of TikTok users faking disorders, which, if you really want to be mentally ill, we can consider wanting people to think you're mentally ill as its own mental disorder, but they fake things like Tourette's, ADHD, Autism, and most notably here, Depression. Naturally, due to children wanting to be like the people they see online, they imitate. Due to the difficulty of imitating the other things faked by these people, they instead imitated depression due to the simplicity of the stereotype being "Always sad, all the time". Then, due to the trend of things being or becoming "aesthetic", they made depression and the concept of sadness as a whole into an aesthetic thing. Especially now with social media being such a big part of our lives, people already feeling down from an event they can emotionally recover from (such as the loss of a pet or family member), even if it is a big change in life, will be brought down by the "aesthetic" of sadness. With this, I think it might actually be safe to say that the current generation is making itself depressed for fun, roping others in, and harming them.
The thing i agree with you on, is that you gotta move on from whatever sadness at some point. (Clynical depression exluded because its a medical condition that you cant just "get over") But. I disagree that our music or tv shows or anything really have to do with the sadness of our generation. They might motivate that general sadness, but they are most definitely not the cause by it. The cause is more that the generations that are currently starting to work n shit, dont have a future to look forward to. That hopelesness is what creates the sadness. Then the music and the shows and the artworks come. They are always just a reflection of the community. While I disagree on the underlying sentiment of the video, i still found it interesting to watch and hear your perspective. Small sidenote: i noticed your use of a lot of billie eilish's work. Now i wont deny that her music is mostly not uplifting, her general vibe is definitely more low-key and melancholical, I would personally never feature her in a video about "Trend". While she is definitely very very popular, her whole discocraphy, from lyrics, over tonality, to mood is everything else then trendy.
My ‘saddest’ part of my life, was really hard for me. I cried almost every night for many months, I hated myself for the way I looked and behaved, I cut myself and just wanted to die. But I can definitely say, that social media was a big part of it. I maybe even started being this depressed, because I saw it somewhere and it made me addicted. I was watching sad movies & series, listening to sad songs, scrolling though my depressing social media.. But as you said, my problem was that I wasn’t trying to change something or get help. I was just soaking up all the sadness and letting it as hate on myself out. Now, 5 years later, of course I still struggle with many things, life isn’t always easy and nice, an old friend of mine ended his life this month, which was a big hit for me and my friendgroup. But I am trying to not let the sadness get the control over me. I (try to) value everything I have, and don’t think about what I don’t have. Instead I put my focus on things I can achieve, ways I can help others (and myself) and trust god with my future (:
im so sorry to hear about your friend. major major major props to you for trying to stay positive that is incredibly difficult. I wish you the best on your journey. keep going, you got this!
I'm really sorry for your friend. It's not an easy moment in your life, probably, and I truly think that you are a strong person for everything you have done and are still struggling with. It's even more commendable to admit it because that's really brave. Something I didn't say in my video, but I think is important, is that if you really need to feel bad, it's completely okay. Sometimes we avoid feeling bad to stay away from that sad, dark zone I talked about. But if you are feeling down, it's perfectly fine to give yourself the time to let your feelings flow. Accept all your emotions and remember that you will never annoy a real friend if you want to talk again about the same situation. Real friends will always be there to listen, and I am completely sure that yours will too. My best wishes, bro. Thanks for your comment <3
omg this is so awesome, love your hair, glad I found you + this topic is definitely relevant rn, especially with the trend of ig reels being "too real" where everyone just wallows in their sadness collectively
