The pet cards are a part of Ygella's character deck! Ygella does not have a separate side deck. The pet cards are just a subtype of cards in her deck that help her trigger sneaky, thematic effects!

Hmmm, so my answers are going to be a little sloppy without specific examples, but here goes: If a player has multiple drinks added to their Drink Me! Pile in one turn, they will still only drink one drink during their Drink phase on their turn. A card that makes a player drink a drink will say so explicitly, such as with Fiona's 'We're at an inn and you're not drinking. What's wrong with you?' That card can be played at any time, and makes the targeted player drink the top drink on their Drink Me! Pile. Other cards may pass a Drink one player is about to drink to another player, such as Phrenk's 'I think you'll appreciate this drink more than I will' card - in that case, the player who is given the Drink resolves it at that time. Players do not (or at least, definitely should not) add drinks to their own Drink Me! Pile in typical play. When you play a card such as 'Wench, bring some drinks for my friends!' during your Order a Drink phase, you'll be placing a total of 3 cards from the Drink Deck (1 by default plus 2 for playing the card) on other player's Drink Me! Piles, ensuring that THEY have plenty to Drink when their turns come around! Now, Wizgille's cards that alter Numeric Effects can be a bit tricky at first, but as you play with her a few times you should get a full grasp on them. A Numeric Effect is the portion of an effect on a card expressed with a number. For example, Wizgille's 'This device can change alcohol to gold. Watch!' card does not contain any numeric effects, so if you reveal 'Excellent result!' from her Gear deck, there's no change to the effect. However, if Wizgille plays 'I think I can salvage some Gold from this thing' and reveals 'Excellent result!' from her Gear deck, that WOULD change the effect; it would go from 'Gain 1 Gold from the Inn' to 'Gain 2 Gold from the Inn.' Hopefully this helps!

@@JenniferKitzman That's interesting. My friends would interpret the excellent result as affecting the device card. Whatever number of gold she would have gotten for the gold-ified drink would have the extra gear card gold added onto it.

@@cosmicwinters Your friends are very close to the finish line of interpretation! The 'Excellent Result' card would affect ONLY the Gear Card, not the Drink that the Gear Card targets. Since the Gear Card 'This device can turn alcohol into gold' doesn't have any numbers in its effect text to modify, the effect isn't modified. Hopefully this clarifies things!

Only one card can be plotted this way! However, if a card you play tells you to Plot a Card, you can do so as part of resolving that card as well. For example, on one turn Petra can start her turn, complete her Discard & Draw phase, then plot a card from her hand (just a 'Gambling? I'm In!' to mess with other players), and then when she plays 'Hot and Sharp, just like me!' on her Action phase, she can plot an additional card from her hand.

You can use a 'play this when you are about to lose gold' in response to an ante for sure - once per ante (as in a 'Floor Gold' that you used to cover the first ante will not cover the second) You CAN'T use it in response to someone else winning a round of Gambling. As for your other question, that's a bit too wide a net to cover here; consulting the 'Cards That Affect Your Fortitude, Alcohol Content, Gold' section of the rules and reading the cards carefully and very literally should help you!

Thanks for watching! Getting a chance to talk out tricky rules situations on stream is definitely handy.

You can use Mix-Ins whenever there's a drink about to be drunk - that's the 'Sometimes' condition, just like any regular card that plays with the drinks! Since you play Mix-Ins as though they came from your hand, and draw them from your character deck, you discard them into your character discard pile when they've resolved.

When it comes to detaching one of the Lich King's fingers, the rules are very generous; "Whenever a card or effect would affect your Fortitude or Alcohol Content, you may detach a finger to Ignore that card or effect. A finger may Ignore all card types such as Action, Sometimes, Anytime, *Drink*, Event, etc., as well as non-card effects such as Natyli’s Debuffs and Amundyr’s Scarabs." So basically, as long as an effect of any kind would make you move your Fortitude or Alcohol Content tokens, you can Ignore that effect by detaching a finger. TL;DR - Yes.

Slugfest has confirmed that this set didn't do as well as they hoped and because it was a licensed set that it will not be reprinted like every other set. I want it too but the best we can do is hunt for it second hand or hope a local store still has a copy
