so I was looking at some footage and depending on the circumstance, you can. If I'm driving at slower speed like in town or at the truck stop, yes you can. but it starts to become more challenging when your at higher speeds like the highway, especially at night. the cars are moving too fast to be able to read the plates and becomes slightly blurry from the shaking.

that would be an amazing add-on to this dash cam

Try to reformat SD Card, Make sure you use one that says it has ECC or High Endurance if still issues factory rest Camera!

Price will depend on your truck engine and year. I know they had a sale for memorial Day, not sure if it's still going on.

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately no final resolution as of yet. These codes can mean a multitude of things. I've been dealing with this issue going on a few years. Got tired of giving my money to shops and got me a the OTR diagnostic tool. That's the reason when you look up the codes, you'll get a million different answers. I believe it just needs a new one box completely. I've also put over 5k in it and still dealing with it. What I have done to minimize the issue is haul lighter loads and less mountain areas, as that is when the codes pop up the most. But I know that can be hard.

This was convos that happened back in 2016 when OTTO was big. Fast forward to now, there’s still not a single manufacturer with video proof of it handling road closures and construction on major interstates, specifically bypasses of major cities. There’s not a single tech company that’s invest nearly as much as Tesla with self driving and a driver was just charged with manslaughter in April for a malfunction. It’s coming without a doubt but the main question is when and from the looks of it, they’re 90% done but that last 10% is an obstacle in which they can not see the light.

I agree, still at least a decade to get there but there is a company called Waymo, self driving taxi service in San Francisco, CA. Not sure if available anywhere else. Crazy to see videos of self driving vehicles

I'd say that they are at least a decade away from that; additionally the first one that mows down a family of five in a minivan... I don't see it ever happening in my lifetime.

true but look into Waymo. It is a self driving taxi service currently available but only in San Francisco, CA. Not sure if it's available anywhere that. how much tech has advanced in the last 25 years. or even in the last 5 years. AI only been around for several years and everybody now uses it in some way shape or form. scary times to be living in, but I'm with you.

@@thegoldentrucker I'ver personally seen an automated vehicle without a passenger driving down the street in the wrong direction in Los Angeles as well as a grocery delivery thing get hit by a car.
