Visited the Ponderosa Ranch in Lake Tahoe in the early 90's, It was a fun place to take the kids. I heard it closed up in 2004.

We had many fun rides here on our Motorcycles in the early 70's, Hill Climb Heaven back then, Suicide and Impossible to name a few. Kevin and I went back in 1986 for a re-visit, had a blast. even thought they had closed many of the areas off there was still plenty to have fun on. I do not know if it is still open to ride at any more??

Where is the trailhead.Im not sure where it starts.Looks like a fun trail and not to hard. Thanks.
The trail head is about 3 miles south of the HWY 149 Intersection in South Fork on HWY 160, Yes some of the trails in and around SF have some Hard sections in them, also seem to be more Rocks in the north of town trails, enjoy.

There is a BIG BOY in the Sacramento museum and those drive wheels are over 6 ft in diameter… great vid!!!
